Upgrade Weekend!
Still striving to get the greatest performance out of your equipment? This weekend will be the perfect time to apply Tech Upgrades to your gear, as we’re doubling the amount of Technology Points earned from each one applied! From Thursday, April 30th at 8AM PST to Monday, May 4th at 10AM PST, every Tech Upgrade used will apply twice as many Technology Points toward your next Upgrade! This in turn reduces the amount of Dilithium that must be spent to reach each Upgrade threshold, allowing Captains additional chances to attain both Mark and Rarity increases on their favored load outs. .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11423813-upgrade-weekend%21

The Year of Klingon
Captains…welcome to the Year of Klingon. Over the rest of 2020, and part of 2021, we’re going to be putting on a major, multipart, 2411-focused Klingon storyline. We can’t release the details on what that is just yet (although it’s a fair bet that J’Ula and her time traveling cohorts are involved), but as part of this long-planned, face-of-the-game changing story, we’re taking a little time to focus on our most honorable allies. We love our Klingon content – who doesn’t love a story that involves descending into Grethor and fighting a god? – but a lot of it is old, and doesn’t contain the technical improvements we’ve made to the game over the years. So we’re spending time and resources to give these pieces of content visual and gameplay facelifts. Over the next twelve months (maybe more), you’ll see new Klingon character models for some of our classic characters like J’Mpok, updated skins for the classic Klingon ships like the Bird of Prey, new environments and cutscenes to refresh this old but beloved content. But it’s not going to be all at once. Like how our Age of Discovery expansion came out over the course of most of a year, this refresh will be released in pieces. And we want to show you some of what we’re working on while we’re doing it. Here’s how: #StovokorSaturdays – Every Saturday for the next few months, we’ll be debuting a new piece of updated Klingon content on our Twitter and Facebook pages. These could be ships, environments – you’ll never know what it is until you see it. Artist Streams – Some of the artists working on our games will be inviting you into their homes to show off their work, as they make it. These streams will largely be unannounced, so make sure to follow our Twitch channel to know when they go live. Ten Forward Weekly Interviews – We’ll be bringing in the Environment, Content, Cutscene and more teams for interviews on our weekly community stream (every Wednesday at 4pm PT) More surprises to come. So get your Bat'leths and Bloodwine ready, Captains, it's gonna be an honorable year. .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11423783-the-year-of-klingon

Protect Pahvo!
A living planet. While some may cite technicalities and term this a misnomer, the complex and interconnected lifeforms that call the planet Pahvo their home are the closest known match to such a phenomenon found in the vast expanses of our chartered galaxy. Despite the planet’s vibrant biomes and complex native life, it is largely defenseless against the invading forces that have attempted to claim and corrupt it for their own use. It’s up to you to come to the planet’s aid. The Defense of Pahvo Event will include multiple TFOs, previously featured individually, in a combined Featured Event that will allow players to choose their favored way of defending Pahvo each day, while earning Daily Progress toward a new grand prize reward. Defend the system space above the planet by maintaining and operating a series of defensive satellites, or take to the vibrant wilds of the planet’s surface to stop Terran forces from corrupting its mysterious energies. Participating in this Event will progress you in our second Event Campaign, working towards a Tier 6 Ship and 200 Lobi or 1000 Lobi (the same prize on both PC and Console), and give all players the opportunity to win a KIDD Drone Universal Kit Module for their entire account! Keep reading for details on these items, how you can participate in the Event, and what additional prizes may be earned. And that’s not all – with today’s announcement, we’re revealing the next few months’ worth of upcoming content. Stay tuned until the end of this blog to have a look at the future of Star Trek Online. Known Threats, Updated Rewards Two existing activities will be participating in this Event: Pahvo Dissension – Ground TFO The I.S.S. Charon has been sucked through space, time, and across universes to crash land on Pahvo. Word of the planet’s unique nature has reached the Terran survivors and they are proceeding to agonize Pahvo into a weapon. Only you (and 4 other captains) can stop them! Peril Over Pahvo – Space TFO Enemy forces strike, seeking to control the enigmatic world of Pahvo! Rush to enable and defend a newly-established defensive blockade consisting of multiple configurations of satellites, while preventing various enemy factions from getting a foothold above the living planet. While the action players will engage in during these TFOs have not changed for this event, a few minor adjustments have been made to each that will be present for the length of this Event’s run: Each completion will reward a Choice of All Marks (replacing the usual Mark rewards) Both TFOs have had their Cooldown Timers temporarily disabled Both TFOs have been temporarily removed from Random TFO eligibility Assessing the Situation Viewing the details of this Event in-game is as simple as opening your Journal and navigating to the “Events” tab. From here, all of the pertinent information is at your fingertips, as are simple-to-use buttons that allow quick access to the associated Content for this Event. As a core feature of the updated Event System, all Progress Points gained toward completion of the Event are shared across your entire Account, and all earned Progress is automatically tracked and applied toward completing the Event. Players will be able to earn their Daily Progress once every 20 hours. Either of the above TFOs may be played as much as you like each day, so pick and choose how you prefer to gain Progress each day, and mix it up as much (or as little) as you like! Event Campaign II This Featured Event will be the first of a series of upcoming Events that will participate in the second installment of our multi-event system known as an Event Campaign. For Event Campaign II, a few changes have been made. More Events! Event Campaign II will span a total of FOUR separate Featured Events, spanning the majority of the upcoming year of PC releases. As a result of this increase in length, the requirements for receiving the Campaign Grand Prize have been increased from 2,100 Progress to 2,800 Progress. More Prizes! The Grand Prize for Event Campaign II will offer players a choice as to what they receive, between the two following options: Option 1: Z-Store Coupon for 100% Off a single Tier-6 Starship 200 Lobi Crystals Option 2: 1,000 Lobi Crystals This choice is only made once per Account, upon claiming the prize. The core gameplay of this Event Campaign remains the same as the previous one: Participate in multiple Events scheduled over the next several months, to earn progress towards an extremely valuable prize. All of the following aspects of this system remain unchanged: Players may earn 50 Event Campaign Progress for each day they participate in an eligible event. Buying out an eligible event will include up to 700 Event Campaign Progress. Each event’s buyout only grants as much Event Campaign Progress as is relative to the amount paid, after pro-rated discounts are applied. This means that paying half price, (because you participated in 7 out of 14 of the required days so far) will grant you 350 Event Campaign Progress. Essentially, you get what you pay for. Rewards Accruing a total of 14 Days’ worth of Daily Progress will allow you to claim the Grand Prize of Defense of Pahvo Event. This reward includes all of the following: Universal Kit Module – KIDD Drones Once earned, every character on your account will be able to claim this unique Kit Module, which is the first ever released to possess a passive effect in addition to its activated ability. Complete details on this Kit’s capabilities is included later in this blog. Other characters on your account may visit the “Reclaim Rewards” store interface to pick up their Kit Modules once you have collected this on any character. 3x Featured TFO Reward Boxes Each gives a choice of 1x Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade 25,000 Dilithium Ore Issued immediately for use as you see fit! (Note: The Featured TFO Boxes and Dilithium Ore are only rewarded once, to the first character on your account that claims the Grand Prize.) Universal Kit Module – KIDD Drones Completion of this Event will grant you this one-of-a-kind Kit Module, which marks the first time any Kit Module has offered a passive benefit while equipped to your character, in addition to its activated ability. The Kinetically-Impelled Detachable Drones (or KIDDs) were originally created from parts from the crash site of the U.S.S. Hiawatha, by Commander Jett Reno. With only these semi-automated devices as her assistants, she managed to single-handedly save the lives of many critically-injured patients for more than 10 months. This module has a Passive mode which will cause a Master KIDD Drone to be replicated and follow you in combat. While in this power-saving mode, the KIDDs will occasionally assist their owner in combat, but their capabilities are limited until the owner activates Separation Mode. Once separated, the three separate sub-units - collectively referred to as the KIDDs - become a multi-system combat unit that can damage and debilitate foes for a brief period of time. When Separation Mode wears off, the Master KIDD Drone will resume its power-saving follow behavior after a brief recharge. Each Detached KIDD has its own unique suite of combat capabilities: Central KIDD: Bolt Attack (Phaser Damage) Full Auto Sweep (AOE Phaser Damage) Left KIDD: Deploy Mine (Kinetic Damage) Reinforce Shields (Shield Heal, Harden) Right KIDD: Tachyon Harmonics (Shield Drain, Knockback) Diagnostic Scan (Heal, Damage Resist) Bonus Rewards After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day that you continue participating in the content associated with the Borg Resurgence. Each day you earn the Daily Progress you will be automatically granted a bundle of Dilithium Ore. This bonus reward will begin at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion, then scales up with each subsequent bonus completion that you achieve. The more you play, the more you continue to earn! Zen Buyout Option For players interested in instantly completing the Defense of Pahvo Event – whether that is due to worries over finding the play time to complete it, or simply wanting to move immediately into earning Bonus Rewards – we will be offering a method for buying out. Within the Event UI, an option will be presented that allows you to purchase the remaining progress that you need, for a scaling amount of Zen. The base price for this service will be 2,000 Zen, but every single Daily Progress that you earn will reduce that price on a percentage basis. Thus, if you have already earned 7 Daily Progress (half of the 14 required), this price will be reduced for you down to 1,000 Zen. The more you play, the cheaper the Buyout Option becomes, dynamically! A Second Chance Once the Defense of Pahvo Event has ended, your opportunity to earn Progress Points will have passed. However, the Event System will store the progress that you made long after the Event has expired. Based on this stored progress, the option to Buyout the rewards will remain available through a new “Second Chance” section of the Zen Store. The price for this buyout is the same as what is offered while the Event is active, and scales in the same manner based on your amount of Progress Points accrued. Legacy Progress As with previous Events, we will continue offering the opportunity for players to utilize their old Event tokens to apply toward this Event. To access this functionality, select the “Legacy Progress” button on the Event UI. This button will only be visible to players that have tokens available to trade in. Availability The Defense of Pahvo Event will begin on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation4 simultaneously, starting on May 7th, 2020. This Event will remain active until May 28th, 2020. The Future of Star Trek Online Right now, Winter has returned to Star Trek Online, and soon, you’ll be defending Pahvo. But what comes next? Well, the answers are here. The image below details the content we’re currently working on, all of which is slated to come out this year. However, we’re not calling it a Roadmap, because, like all of you, we’re finding our feet in this quarantine and trying to figure out how it will affect us. All of these events and exciting additions are coming, but they may not come in the order listed, things may shift. With that in mind, enjoy a look at what’s coming soon-ish in Star Trek Online! It has been classified as a Raider, but trades some of that class's trademark mobility for increased flexibility and durability. This starship features a Commander Tactical/Pilot Bridge Officer seat and a Lieutenant Commander/Intel Bridge Officer seat. Pilot ships are highly agile craft designed to perform advanced maneuvers that can give them a deadly edge in combat. Your starship can perform a sudden maneuver in each horizontal direction: Forward, Backward, Left or Right. Executing each maneuver will rapidly reposition your starship while granting very brief damage immunity, but costs all available thruster fuel which takes several seconds to recover. When activated, the neuro-cotamic interface allows your starship to project several independent holographic copies of the La Sirena into nearby space that will aid in combat scenarios for up to 30 seconds, assaulting nearby foes from multiple directions simultaneously. In addition, while this console's effects persist, all of your Bridge Officer Abilities will recharge much more rapidly. This console also provides a passive boost to Engineering Readiness, Science Readiness and Tactical Readiness. This console mod can be equipped on any starship. Only one of these consoles may be equipped at a time, but it may be equipped in any console slot. Starship Trait – Maintained to Regulation While this trait is slotted, activating any Captain Ability will remove 1 debuff effect from you and reduce the remaining recharge time of all Bridge Officer Abilities by a small amount. Experimental Weapon – Coordinated Hull Piercer This weapon system is integrated into a ship's external holoprojectors, and has independent targeting and communications systems designed to work with similar systems aboard allied ships. The resulting beam is capable of firing coalesced kinetic energy on enemy vessels, and can allow nearby allied vessels to coordinate fire for additional impact damage. This weapon has a good chance of knocking one or more of an enemy's subsystems offline with each hit, whether from itself or from an ally's coordinated attack. This Experimental Weapon may be upgraded like a standard weapon, swapped out for another Experimental Weapon and placed in any other starship's Experimental Weapon Slot. For the past month, we’ve been inviting non-ship artists from the Star Trek Online team on to our weekly stream, Ten Forward Weekly, to try their hand at designing a Risian Science Ship. Mentored by a ship artist, each one created their own interpretation of what that ship might look like, with widely different results. Then, our concept artist, Hector Ortiz, turned each of those designs into a beautiful sketch. You can see all of this on our Youtube channel right now – it’s a fascinating look at the ship design process. Click here to watch the videos! But now that all four ships are designed, the power is in your hands. Below, you can vote for which of the four ships is your favorite. The winner, as chosen by our community, will be this year’s free ship in the Risian Lohlunat Festival! Look at all the images, then vote in the survey below - voting will be open until 4/30/20. Choose wisely, this is a ship you could be flying in your future. Medical Pack Giveaway!
Star Trek, more than any other science fiction show, has always been about aspiration, seeking a universe where humanity has reached its true potential, far away from the things that divided us in the past. Right now, the world is facing a terrible crisis, and we’re very glad that some of you have chosen to spend your time away from friends or family with us, escaping into our version of the Final Frontier. But that doesn’t mean we want to forget the world we live in, either. Right now, millions of people are suiting up every day to defend us from the crisis we’re all facing, and those in the medical field are putting themselves directly in the crosshairs to save lives. They may be wearing masks and hospital scrubs, but they deserve to wear a Starfleet Uniform. It’s a small gesture, but we at Star Trek Online want to show our appreciation to these people who are putting their live on the line to defend us. Starting today, we’re offering a free pack to players on PC, which will come to Xbox One and Playstation 4 on May 7th. The pack contains: A brand new Vanity Shield, to deck your starship out in medical colors A Holo Bashir Bridge Officer for Federation Captains and their allies An Emergency Medical Hologram Bridge Officer for Klingon Captains and their allies A new Admiralty card, for medical ship the USS Hope In addition to putting this out in the game to allow you to show your support, we are going to be holding an in game gathering this Saturday, April 18th on all three Platforms, at 1pm PT. More New Items in Mudd's Market!
My friends. My dearest, truest friends. It is, of course, I, Harcourt Fenton Mudd. Gentleman of the Stars, and the one man to offer the greatest deals in the entire galaxy, directly to you! There are some that say the Khitomer Alliance itself was formed just to end my little enterprise, but no matter the chains the governments of any quadrant try to put on me, you just can’t keep a good Mudd down. I stand here before you – bzzt – to show you the latest and greatest in my inventory, which I am willing to part with for prices that are simply, as my very good friend Mr. Spock would have said, illogical. What do we have on offer this time? Step closer, friends, into this well hidden hangar, and I shall show you! Is not Benthan technology the most beautiful you’ve ever seen? This assault cruiser used to be a wildly rare object, coveted by many, but now I have in hand a stock of them, and they can be yours! Ah, you Madam, I see you have an eye for quality. That box contains weapons of the Corrosive Plasma variety, perfect to outfit on your starship for personal protection, or perhaps – bzzt – a little legal hunting! Yes. And over here, the final new addition, take a look at this satellite. It was once used by Klingon forces to make war upon the Federation over Prior’s World, but now we are all friends, yes? I see no issue in everyone getting the chance to use it for their own devices. Now, please, wallets at the ready, folks, and do form an orderly line! Mudd has added three new items to his store on all platforms! They are: T6 Benthan Assault Cruiser Corrosive Weapons Pack Priors World Defense Satellite All three will be available starting this Thursday, April 16th, and the entire Mudd’s Market will be on sale for 60% off from April 16th at 8am PT to April 20th at 10am PT! Don’t miss a sale like this, Captains. .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11410893-more-new-items-in-mudd%27s-market%21

Resolved an issue that could prevent progress on the "Dependable," "Vigilant," and "Reliant" accolades for completing charting the B'Tran cluster. Changed "Riker's Apprentice" accolade to complete if you inflict damage on multiple Son'a ships with one Metreon gas explosion during the mission "Brushfire." Moved all of the star cluster exploration accolades (Delta Volanis exanse, T'Ong nebula, etc.) into a separate section of the accolade journal labeled "Exploration - Star Clusters." Admiralty Updates: The rewards received for completing the 10th step of the Tour of Duty for the Klingon Empire Admiralty Campaign have been changed from 30,000 Dilithium Ore, to 40,000 Fleet Dilithium Vouchers. This is essentially Refined Dilithium, but may only be used as an input in Fleet Projects. The rewards received for completing the 10th step of the Tour of Duty for the Ferengi Alliance Admiralty Campaign have been changed from 30,000 Dilithium Ore, to 30,000 Dilithium Ore Bonus Pool. This will grant a 50% bonus to most sources of Dilithium Ore received, until the Pool is depleted. Resolved an issue on "Impossibility of Reason" that could cause some of the Klingon NPCs to spawn in as the wrong type of Klingon (wrong era, wrong faction). Tzen Tar Dreadnought in the Lobi Store!
The Lobi Crystal Consortium is pleased to announce their latest featured sale! From Thursday, April 2nd at 8AM PST til Monday, April 6th, at 10AM PST, shrewd Captains will be able to choose from their wide selection of wares, just by visiting the in-game Lobi store. All items in the Lobi Store will be 20% off for this entire sale! Now’s the best time to take command of a Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought Cruiser, or get your hands on a Boolean Heavy Assault Cannon, or fly the stars in a Vaadwaur Astika Heavy Battlecruiser. But that’s not all – for the duration of this sale, the Tzenkethi Tzen Tar Dreadnought will become available in the Lobi Store! This powerful, alien cruiser can be yours for a discounted price of 960 Lobi! Read the details on this magnificent ship below, and head to the Lobi Store to claim one for your own! Tzenkethi Tzen-tar Dreadnought Carrier [T6] Tzenkethi war fleets have clashed with the Federation and their allies twice within living memory, and both wars have proven that their technology and warfare tactics are a match for any other major civilization within the known galaxy. Their focus on inventive maneuvers and purpose-built shield arrays have helped secure victory in many engagements against what would otherwise be considered superior opponents. The Tzen-tar Dreadnought Carrier epitomizes the Tzenkethi reliance on resilient shielding and coordinated tactics. By utilizing its massive offensive and scientific capabilities in tandem with wings of expertly-piloted frigates, the Tzen-tar commands and controls any battlefield it enters. This starship features a Commander Tactical/Miracle Worker Bridge Officer Seat, and a Lieutenant Commander Universal/Command Bridge Officer Seat. Ship Details: Tier: 6 Faction: All Availability: R&D Promotion Rank Required: Rear Admiral, Brigadier General or Sub Admiral I (Level 40) Hull Strength: 1.25 (33,000 at level 40, 37,950 at level 50 and 44,000 at level 60) Shield Modifier: 1.45 Fore Weapons: 5 Aft Weapons: 2 Device Slots: 3 Bridge Officer Stations: 1 Lieutenant Tactical, 1 Commander Tactical/Miracle Worker, 1 Ensign Engineering, 1 Lieutenant Commander Science, 1 Lieutenant Commander Universal/Command Console Modifications: 5 Tactical, 2 Engineering, 4 Science, 1 Universal Base Turn Rate: 7.5 degrees/second Impulse Modifier: 0.15 Inertia: 50 +10 to Weapon Power, +10 to Shield Power, +5 Engine Power, +5 Auxiliary Power Console – Universal – Protomatter Barrage Launcher Innovation Ship Mechanic Can Equip Dual Cannons 2 Hangar Bays loaded with Shuk-din Frigates Starship Mastery Package (Carrier) Quick Deployment (+Hangar Launch Recharge Speed) Armored Hull (+Max Hull Capacity) Enhanced Hull Plating (+Energy Damage Resistance Rating) Advanced Shield Systems (+Max Shield Capacity) Automated Aggression (Starship Trait) Admiralty Ship Stats ENG: 23 SCI: 41 TAC: 62 SPECIAL: -5% Maintenance per ANY Ship Innovation Ship Mechanic As a Miracle Worker starship, this vessel gains bonuses associated with that classification. In addition to increased Subsystem Power and a Universal Console Slot, this also includes the Innovation Ship Mechanic. Miracle Worker vessels have access to the Innovation mechanic, which reflects the ingenious solutions you and your crew can pull out of thin air to aid in difficult situations. While in combat, utilizing the correct combination of Engineering, Science, and/or Tactical Bridge Officer Abilities (as indicated by a specialized UI readout) will cause one of the following effects to be triggered: Instinctive Rerouting: Bonus to All Subsystem Power Containment Layering: Temporary Hull (based on Max Hull) Heisenberg Decoupling: Secondary Shields (based on Max Shields) Plasma Purge: Self-Targeted AOE Plasma Damage-over-Time Ingenious Solutions: Bonus to Recharge Speeds for Bridge Officer and Captain Abilities Barclay Maneuver: Photonic Copy of your starship which uses Ramming Speed on a nearby foe Which abilities must be activated, and which Innovation effect is triggered, are both randomized each time the mechanic refreshes. It will refresh after a brief lockout period which follows each triggered effect. Console – Universal – Protomatter Barrage Launcher These custom-built launchers allow Tzenkethi ships to safely store and transport the otherwise volatile substance known as protomatter, while also serving as supplementary weaponry in case of attack. Each launcher is filled with a number of projectiles, and disperses them quickly when set to firing mode, acquiring targets automatically from available enemy energy signatures. The explosions caused by these weapons deals both Kinetic and Radiation damage, and have a chance of leaving behind deadly Radiation hazard clouds upon impact. This console also provides a passive boost to Turn Rate, Critical Severity, and Healing Critical Severity. This console may be equipped in any console slot on any Tzenkethi starship. You may only have one of these consoles equipped at a time. Automated Aggression (Starship Trait) A ship with this trait will automatically launch a protomatter-laced explosive at the nearest foe when activating certain abilities. Each explosive device inflicts a combination of Kinetic and Radiation damage, and has a chance of leaving behind a short-lived Radiation hazard which can deal additional damage to foes caught within it. These explosives move quickly, but target your foe's current location and therefore have a lower chance of impacting against highly mobile foes. When activating Tactical or Miracle Worker Bridge Officer Abilities, launch a Protomatter Barrage projectile at nearest foe. Each projectile deals Kinetic and Radiation damage, and has a 25% chance of causing a brief Radiation hazard cloud at the point of impact. Hangar Pets: Shuk-din Frigates These nimble and resilient Frigates support their carrier by supplying considerable firepower to any conflict. They are capable of brief uses of Lock Trajectory, allowing them to keep their forward-facing weaponry trained on foes with increased reliability. Compared to other Frigate Hangar Pets, these have increased Shield Capacity at the cost of lower Hull. They may only be obtained if you own the Tzen-tar Dreadnought Carrier, but may be equipped on any starship that has a Hangar Bay. PC Patch Notes for 4/2/20
First Contact Day Celebration! Join us for the First Contact Day Celebration starting on PC on April 2nd, 2020 and continuing until April 23rd, 2020. The First Contact Day Event can be accessed through Star Trek Online’s recently released Events Tab. Two ways to earn Event Progress! Compete with four other players to build and launch your very own Phoenix Rocket, or join Seven-of-Nine and travel back to April 4th, 2063, and participate in a brand new patrol surrounding the titular event. Captains that earn 14 or more Daily Progress may then claim Event Grand Prize – a Temporal Vortex Probe (Universal Console). For more information, please visit the “Defend First Contact Day!” blog at: https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11386403-defend-first-contact-day%21 New Event Patrol: One Night in Bozeman Included with the traditional model rocket building First Contact Day TFO, Captains will be able to participate in a brand-new patrol, “One Night in Bozeman”. Access this limited-time content through the Event UI, or the Patrols Tab of the PvE UI. The Borg have altered the timeline to ensure that they succeed in their previously-foiled plan to stop First Contact between Earth and Vulcan. Team up with Seven-of-Nine and discover what The Borg have done to alter the timeline, and then do everything you can to correct it. First Contact Day Event Rewards: First Contact Day Badge Box: Completing either of the participating activities once per day, per account, will earn you a First Contact Day Badge Box. Opening this box will grant players the opportunity to choose between 17 never-before-released Comm Badges as account-wide unlocks. First Contact Day Event Grand Prize: Upon reaching 14 days of Progress, you will become eligible to claim the Grand Prize! This includes the following items: Console – Universal – Temporal Vortex Probe (Account Unlock) Inspired by Borg technology, this probe is capable of opening a dangerously unstable Temporal Vortex that can travel through local space to damage and debilitate enemy vessels in the area. The drone will travel toward the targeted foe's current location, dragging the anomaly with it while emitting chroniton radiation in a large cone facing away from its trajectory. This console also provides a passive boost to Exotic Damage and Cooldown Reduction for Temporal Operative Bridge Officer Abilities, as well as a scaling bonus to Turn Speed that scales with Auxiliary Power. This Console can be equipped in any console slot on any starship. First Contact Day Bundle – contains all of the following: 1x Captain Specialization Point (cannot reclaim) 25,000 Dilithium Ore (cannot reclaim) “Launch Toy Rocket” Social Device (Account Unlock) Holo-Emitter – Phoenix Shuttle (Account Unlock) Bonus Rewards: After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day, beginning at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion. Zen Buyout Option: For players interested in instantly completing the First Contact Day Event, we will be offering an updated method for buying out. Within the new Event UI, an option will be presented that allows you to purchase the remaining progress that you need, for a scaling amount of Zen. General: The Ferengi Marauder starship model has been remastered with a new model and a new ship material.Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11403633-pc-patch-notes-for-4%2F2%2F20

Klingon Concertina Festival!
It’s a time of peace and understanding throughout the galaxy, where, thanks to the Khitomer Alliance, sharing of culture is at an all time high. Which is why it makes the most sense, right this minute, to bring a normally very small cultural festival to every corner of the galaxy! That’s right, music fans, the Klingon Concertina is going big time! We’ve sent concertinas to all of the major players in the Alliance, and they’ve been practicing for months for their big performance today. Experience the honor of traditional Klingon music wherever you go, starting at 9am PT today! We’ve also received word that Kurland himself is back on the promenade of Deep Space Nine, and he will have a very special item, today only! .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11401453-klingon-concertina-festival%21

This starship features a Commander Engineering/Miracle Worker and a Lieutenant Commander Science/Miracle Worker specialist seat. The Quark Marauder also benefits from a large passive boost to the Hull Plating and Armor Reinforcement skills. This bonus is disabled if Battle Mode is activated. To get you there safely, the Quark Marauder comes standard with a Battle Module 4000. The ultimate in military hardware, the Battle Module 4000 ensures your Quark Marauder is fully equipped to protect all your investments. Like the D'Kora, the Quark Marauder is a tough ship on its own, but the Battle Module 4000 lets it show its teeth – and we all know that "the bigger the smile, the sharper the knife." The Battle Module 4000 enables your ship to fire an EMP Burst, which will drain the power from pursuing enemy ships. But that's not all! When fully engaged, the Battle Module 4000 will transform your ship, opening several ports and conduits and improving your weapons and engines. The EMP Burst will be disabled in this mode, but a Swarm Missile System is revealed. Lastly, the Battle Module 4000 provides a passive boost to Critical Hit Chance and Accuracy. This Console Mod can be equipped in any console slot on any Ferengi Marauder or the Ferengi Nandi. You may only equip one of these mods on any single ship. Battle Mode The Quark Marauder is a well armored ship. By default, it offers a defensive damage resistance bonus in the form of bonus Starship Hull Plating and Starship Armor Reinforcement skill. The Quark also has access to an aft facing EMP Burst ability. When Quark’s Battle Mode is activated, the ship transforms. This mode increases the ships Weapon and Engine power but decreases the ships Auxiliary power. Battle Mode also grants a bonus to your Starship Energy Weapons and Starship Projectile Weapons skills and also enables Swarm Missiles. This mode, however, disable the ships EMP Burst, as well as its Starship Hull Plating and Starship Armor Reinforcement skill bonus EMP Burst EMP Burst is capable of drastically reducing the power levels of most starships as well as reducing their energy recharge and transfer rates. It will also disable their batteries. This ability fires in a rear-facing arc and will affect any ships behind you up to 5km away. It is not available when in Battle Mode. Swarm Missiles Swarm missiles launch a furious hail of small missiles at a single target. This massive weapon has a very long cooldown time, and is not affected by Bridge Officer powers like Torpedo High Yield or Torpedo Spread. You must be in Battle Mode to activate Swarm Missiles. Starship Trait – Energy Monopoly Achieving level 5 in the Ferengi Quark Marauder [T6] Starship Mastery will unlock the Energy Monopoly starship trait. While Energy Monopoly is slotted, using Aceton Beam or Overwhelm Regulators causes you to drain power from your target into your own sub-systems for a short time. NOTE: The above stats and systems are subject to change. Defend First Contact Day!
Star Trek Online is pleased to once again invite you to join us for the First Contact Day Celebration starting on PC on April 2nd, 2020 and continuing until April 23rd, 2020. This Event will also run on console platforms delayed by only one week. Join the celebration there, starting on April 9th, 2020 and running until April 30th, 2020. Just as we did for the Anniversary Event, the First Contact Day Celebration has migrated over to the Events Tab. The usual activity of competing with four other players to build and launch your very own Phoenix Rocket will contribute toward your Daily Progress in the Event, but alongside it is the opportunity to travel back to April 4th, 2063, and participate in a brand new patrol surrounding the titular event. Participating in either of these two activities each day will earn you progress toward the Grand Prize – a Temporal Vortex Probe (Universal Console). Keep reading to reveal what activities and prizes await those who join us to celebrate “First Contact Day.” Visit Historical Bozeman! The Borg continue their implacable advance, only this time the battlefield is across time, not space. Temporal abnormalities have prompted Daniels to slap together an away team to go back to mid-21st century Earth where The Borg have altered the timeline to ensure that they succeed in their previously-foiled plan to stop First Contact between Earth and Vulcan. Team up with Seven-of-Nine and discover what The Borg have done to alter the timeline, and then do everything you can to correct it. Just make sure not to do more damage to the timelines than The Borg already have. Alternatively, if battling robot-zombies isn’t your cup of Earl Grey, you can participate in the good ‘ole Phoenix Rocket Launch competition. We’ve put a fresh coat of paint on this one, and we hope you enjoy the friendly rivalry as you scramble to gather parts and assemble the best rocket under the watchful eye of 20-meter-tall marble Dr. Cochrane himself. Event Rewards Completing either of these participating activities once per day, per account, will earn you a First Contact Day Badge Box. Opening this box will grant players the opportunity to choose between 17 never-before-released Comm Badges as account-wide unlocks. Once unlocked, these immediately become accessible from any Tailor for any Federation character on your entire account. Daily Progress is also earned once per day, per account, for the first completion of either participating activity. Keep earning Progress to earn your way toward the completion of the First Contact Day Event. Upon reaching 14 days of Progress, you will become eligible to claim the Grand Prize! This includes the following items: Console – Universal – Temporal Vortex Probe (Account Unlock) Keep reading for more details on this reward! First Contact Day Bundle – contains all of the following: 1x Captain Specialization Point (cannot reclaim) 25,000 Dilithium Ore (cannot reclaim) “Launch Toy Rocket” Social Device (Account Unlock) Holo-Emitter – Phoenix Shuttle (Account Unlock) Console – Universal – Temporal Vortex Probe Inspired by Borg technology, this probe is capable of opening a dangerously unstable Temporal Vortex that can travel through local space to damage and debilitate enemy vessels in the area. Even though the vortex is too unstable to be used for temporal manipulation or time travel, the energies it emits are powerful enough to damage and slow enemy starships unfortunate enough to be caught in its wake. The drone will travel toward the targeted foe's current location, dragging the anomaly with it while emitting chroniton radiation in a large cone facing away from its trajectory. In addition, this console provides a passive boost to Exotic Damage and Cooldown Reduction for Temporal Operative Bridge Officer Abilities, as well as a scaling bonus to Turn Speed that scales with Auxiliary Power. This Console can be equipped in any console slot on any starship. Launch Toy Rocket Celebrate the historic launch of the Phoenix year round with this special device! Upon activation, it places a model of the Phoenix in front of you, which quickly launches in the sky. Holo Emitter - Phoenix Shuttle A special Holo-emitter for your shuttles and fighters that will make your ship look like the Phoenix. This device has an unlimited duration, unlike those provided by the Ferengi. Bonus Project! Earning the Grand Prize from this event for every character on your account is as simple as participating in any of the eligible activities over the course of its run. But remember that completing the 14-day requirement isn’t necessarily the end of the rewards you can earn! Additional Daily Progress also grants you scaling Dilithium Ore bonus rewards, after you have claimed the Grand Prize. You'll receive 8,000 Dilithium Ore for each bonus completion. Players unable to find the time to complete the Event, or interested in rushing to complete their progress, will have the opportunity to purchase the remainder of their Daily Progress using Zen at any time. The initial pricing for this Event’s buyout will be 2000 Zen, but like all other recent buyouts, the price any player pays will be discounted based on the amount of Daily Progress you have already accrued. ---------- Join us in looking up at the sky, our hands sorta reaching out toward the future. .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11386403-defend-first-contact-day%21
