The Infinity Lock Box, containing prizes from nearly all previously-retired Lock Boxes, will be gain a brand new prize on December 8th. This run of the Infinity Lock Box will contain an all-new Tier 6 Starship, the Deimos-class Pilot Destroyer [T6]! Continue reading further on for the full details on this new offering! Deimos-class Pilot Destroyer [T6] The A500 series of Synthetics was created to serve Starfleet. While not as advanced as a Soong-type Android, and certainly lacking the interpersonal skills that Data would come to learn and display, the A500 was enough of a success that they were put to work throughout some of Starfleet's most dangerous jobs. There was even a ship designed for their use, mostly for transport and for defense of the Utopia Planetia shipyards. Due to the synthetic nature of their operators, these ships are faster, more nimble, and more accurate than the counterparts designed to be run by other sentients.  Unfortunately, a fleet of these ships was used to conduct the assault on Utopia Planetia in 2399. Due to their use in that attack, Starfleet halted their production and put them aside, until very recently. Starfleet Engineers have retrofitted these ships to operate with sentient controllers, without losing their agility. General:   Updated Memorial plaque to include Ben Cross.    The T6 Ship Coupon Rewarded in Event Campaigns no longer allows players to claim the Titan Science Destroyer [T6] as it is a new ship.   All players who already used the coupon to claim the Titan Science Destroyer [T6] will continue to have access to the ship  Resolved an issue where ships didn't come stock with experimental weapon equipped.  Titan-Class Science Destroyer [T6] Updates:   Fleet version is now correctly sorted as a fleet ship in the ship vendor.  The registry number on the left Luna nacelle now appears properly.  The rear phaser nodes now fire from their correct positions.  The mission pod no longer has a gap underneath it when combined with other Luna hull and saucer variants.  Updated help text to include new features of loadouts.

Any starship Captain worth his salt knows the value of being prepared – you’re no different. And it’s about to get even easier to have the Loadout you seek, for any mission you’re about to face. Coming very soon on PC, and soon after on Console, we’re making some changes to how Loadouts work. First, your Space Traits are now part of a Loadout. If you’ve got just the right setup for Gravity Kills or Bug Hunt, you can save those and have them ready to go when your favorite TFOs pop up in the Random Queue. But that’s not all – we’ve separated Active Reputation Traits into Active Reputation Ground Traits and Active Reputation Space Traits. Instead of having to choose four or five no matter whether your mission puts you on the bridge or in the trenches, you can set up for both and keep it the way you like. If you’ve unlocked the fifth trait slot, you’ll unlock it for both Ground and Space traits. And finally, for the fans of the “True Endgame”, Loadouts will now remember whether you enabled or disabled the visuals of your ship equipment. Love the benefits of the Competitive Engine but don’t like the way it looks? Equip it, disable the visuals, save your Loadout and never think of it again. General:   Resolved an issue that was preventing teammates from receiving Episode rewards.   Resolved an issue where claiming all the pieces of the Iconian Resistance Ground Set would reward the incorrect Title.   Players that have already done this and received the incorrect Title will find a new Reputation Project in the Iconian Resistance Rep that they can use to claim the correct Title.  Resolved an error in the description on Solar Gateway that indicated it dealt Antiproton damage.    Known Issue:  Titles rewarded by Iconian Reputation 3-Piece Ground Set completion and Iconian Reputation T5 completion are identical.

Best Served Cold is the operation to prevent Aakar from enacting a prison break on Rura Penthe with his treacherous computer virus. It adds to long litany of sins and the building Klingon reprisal against him, provided we prevent him from gaining the glory of victory. We must act quickly to prevent his success. If he retains power, the future of the Klingon Empire is fallen to dishonor and disarray. Best Served Cold is a Featured Task Force Operation in Star Trek Online. Five Alliance captains will work together the accomplish battle objectives and ultimately force Aakar from the region. You must be swift, to arrive in time to prevent him. You must be strong, to defeat him in open battle. You must be cunning, to avoid falling into the trap he has laid as his computer virus works its way through the system’s defenses. Above all, you must fight with honor, that you deserve your victory. This event will last for 3 weeks starting on November 12 for all players, and all players level 10 and above will be able to participate. Complete the TFO on 14 different days to earn the event’s Grand Prize while earning marks and dilithium. For PC players, the Grand Prize is the Nanopulse Targ Combat Pet; for Xbox One and Playstation 4 players, the Grand Prize is Molor’s Flaming Sword. The first completion of this mission on an account each week will grant a Featured Episode Weekly Reward Box. This box gives your choice of an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade or a Captain Specialization Point Box, which gives the character who opens it a Specialization Point. Sometimes exploration of new ideas and new technologies leads to dark places. In Star Trek, we’ve seen many a cautionary tale about omniscient supercomputers, time travel, genetic manipulation, and telepathic oppression. The pursuit of knowledge isn’t always safe or pretty. Hearts and Minds is a mini-mission that explores the consequences of some unconventional research gone awry. This mission is a “story in one act,” so you can easily finish it in a quick play session, and it’s easy to complete it with any additional characters that you may have on your account – which is handy, because the mission offers a special reward. Since Hearts and Minds is a horror story, it will only be around for Friday the 13th, whenever that may fall on the calendar – and perhaps another sufficiently horrifying day that we might choose! Fortunately for the squeamish, Hearts and Minds is creepy, but not graphically gruesome. After all, what you can imagine is sometimes more horrific than anything you can be shown. Hearts and Minds takes place in the Donatu sector of the Eta Eridani sector block, at a lunar research station in the Donatu system and characters level 11+ can accept this mission. Hail Franklin Drake (Federation officers, Romulans, and Jem'Hadar allied with the Federation) or K’Men (Klingon officers, Romulans, and Jem'Hadar allied with the KDF) to undertake this mission. It is available to play from around 6pm PT October 30th (2am CET October 31st) until around 6am PT (15:00 CET) November 1st. General:  Resolved an issue that was causing incompatibility issues with DirectX 10.  Resolved an issue that caused the Advanced Phasers and Disruptors to not gain additional bonuses for having more than one equipped at a time.  The maximum bonus is once again reached with 6 equipped.  Resolved an issue that prevented the Risian Kit Frame from gaining a bonus for more than one Summer kit module equipped.  The maximum bonus is once again reached with 3 equipped  Resolved an issue where in the Faith of the Heart bundle MT had the description for the NX in the Elachi ship portion.  Various costume issues resolved on Reman Males:  Resolved an issue that was causing the Leather Vest to have display issues.   Removed incorrect chest pieces and updated with correct chest pieces for various costumes.

General:   Resolved an issue that would prevent queuing for a TFO after switching a ship.   Resolved an issue that was preventing Captains from using the Alert button when in the Gamma Quadrant Battlezone.   Resolved an issue that was causing the Allegiance icons to not appear properly on the Character Select screen.   Resolved an issue during the episode, “The House Always Wins”, where certain walls did not have the proper visuals.   Known Issues: Some players are receiving Direct X messages in error, keeping them from playing the game.

General:   Resolved an issue that would sometimes cause more than one ship to become active at a time.   Readying any other ship will resolve this issue for Captain’s currently in this state.   Resolved an issue that would sometimes cause Federation Combat Ships to get stuck during the Synth Wave TFO.   Resolved an issue that would sometimes cause Transports to get stuck during the Synth Wave TFO.   Addressed an issue that could prevent the Son of None (sniper) and War Targ from spawning in the final combat after confronting Aakar on Gorath during the episode, "Partisans".  Resolved an issue where Wilkins was using the incorrect costume in the second cutscene in the episode, “Partisans”  Resolved minor animation issues with the MACO Rifle and Phase Pistol.    Known Issues: Some players are receiving incorrect error messages telling them their video card does not support Direct X 10.
