Make Your Captain One of the Elite!
As the Khitomer Alliance steps into a new era, with peace in the Klingon Empire and a bright future ahead, Captains across all quadrants have begun entering special training programs. Sponsored by the Alliance and taught by some of her greatest heroes, these masterclasses have taken the leadership of the Federation, Klingon Empire, Romulan Republic, and even the Dominon to new heights of skill. Working together and learning from one another, these four disparate groups of people are becoming something far more than they ever were apart. You can take advantage of this, too, Captains, with the Elite Captain Boost token. Purchase one of these tokens to upgrade one of the Captains on your account, similar to the Experimental Ship Upgrades for ships. Applying a token to your Captain will instantly add: 1 Personal Space Trait Slot 1 Person Ground Trait Slot 1 Device Slot 1 Kit Module Slot These slots are in addition to the ones your Captain may already have, upgrading their power and versatility to the next level. These tokens only apply to one character at a time, so make sure to apply them to the Captain you want to use them on. The Elite Captain Boost token retails for 1500 Zen for a single token, or you can buy a group of three for 3000 Zen. However! From September 14th to October 14th, both the bundle of three and the single tokens will be 35% off! Grab them at a discount while you can! .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11497333-make-your-captain-one-of-the-elite%21

The First Ship from Lower Decks!
Alongside the release of our next major story update, the Infinity Lock Box will be enjoying a full-length run as the featured Lock Box. This run has already been underway, but starting with the next story update which arrives on PC very soon, a brand new Tier-6 Starship will be added to the existing ship choices, and a series of exciting new Lower Decks-themed items will be added to the Lobi Crystal Store. Chief among these additions is the Parliament Miracle Worker Surveyor Cruiser [T6], which can now be chosen from among the existing selection of Tier 6 Starships available in any “Infinity Prize Pack: T6 Ship” won by opening an Infinity Lock Box. Complete ship details can be found further below in this dev blog! The following new items will be featured in the Lobi Crystal Store, available immediately for purchase upon the release of our next story update! Lower Decks Uniforms Starfleet of the 2380s had style for days. These snappy uniforms are still in circulation, and your Captain can grab them from the Lobi Store and just looks snazzy. Unless you, I don't know, turn it in to go do research on an asteroid or something. You probably won't get eaten. 2380-era Uniforms have a distinctive stripe structure and a familiar feel. Seen on Star Trek: Lower Decks, acquiring this spec of dress allows Captains to replicate the look of the crews from that era, such as that of the U.S.S. Cerritos. Special Issue Phaser Weapons Inspired by weapons seen on Lower Decks, the Special Issue Phaser Weapons have a unifying element: all of them can store multiple Ammo for their Secondary Firing Mode, and activating the Secondary Firing Mode consumes all available Ammo to fire the ability once per Ammo used. Each also has a Proc that grants the Secondary Firing Mode max Ammo for a brief window. Portable Phaser Cannon Special Issue Favored by the Bajoran security officer Shaxs, this formidable weapon is among the heaviest personal-use Phaser available in Starfleet. The Primary Fire is a deadly extended beam that deals significant damage. The Secondary Firing Mode is a charge-up blast; the longer the button is held, the deadlier the ensuing storm of Phaser energy is. In addition to greater damage, at medium charge Foes are severely Slowed, and at maximum charge Foes are stunned. As with all Special Issue weapons, the Secondary activates once per available Ammo, so a max charge Secondary with multiple ammo fires multiple fully charged Phaser blasts. The weapon’s Proc allows use of a max-Ammo Secondary within a moderate time window. Multibarrel Phaser Special Issue Inspired by a very high rate of fire Phaser pistol designed by the holodeck AI, this pistol fires in bursts and its Secondary sprays the field with marginally-discriminate destruction. As with all Special Issue weapons, the Secondary activates once per available Ammo, so a Secondary with multiple ammo fires multiple volleys of withering suppressive fire. The weapon’s Proc allows use of a max-Ammo Secondary within a moderate time window. Captains should be advised that this weapon lacks a stun setting. Phaser Split-Beam Rifle Special Issue Adapting the multiple Ammo system to more conventional weaponry, the Special Issue Split-Beam Rifle functions much as a standard Split-Beam Rifle. As with all Special Issue weapons, the Secondary activates once per available Ammo, so a Secondary with multiple ammo fires multiple waves of independently-targeted Phaser beams. The weapon’s Proc allows use of a max-Ammo Secondary within a moderate time window. Phaser Sniper Rifle Special Issue Adapting the multiple Ammo system to more conventional weaponry, the Special Issue Sniper Rifle functions much as a standard Sniper Rifle. As with all Special Issue weapons, the Secondary activates once per available Ammo, so a Secondary with multiple ammo fires multiple deadly sniper shots. If the original Foe is defeated by one, the others automatically select a new Foe target. The weapon’s Proc allows use of a max-Ammo Secondary within a moderate time window. T-88 Diagnostic Tool Kit This Kit Frame is one of the most efficient diagnostic tools to grace the Alpha Quadrant. At a baseline, it improves Phaser Damage, Health, Critical Chance and Kit Readiness. It also has an activated Diagnostic ability that performs differently on one’s self, one’s allies, and one’s Foes. The Diagnostic lasts longer than its Recharge time, allowing Captains to maintain it on two to three targets at a time. On Player Friend: Improves Critical Severity On non-Player Friend: Adds Bonus Damage On Foe: Reduces Damage Resistance Rating Lower Decks Personal Traits Personal Space Trait – The Boimler Effect Provides a chance that using non-specialist Bridge Officer Abilities will recharge all other Bridge Officer Ability recharge times, up to their respective Shared Cooldown Categories. The gears of any great machine suffer from friction. While ruthless precision is at times the best way, often allowing a bit of slip and wiggle makes the whole structure more resilient. In this way, one should be careful not to police one's crew too closely. Personal Space Trait – Improvised Boarding Party Boarding Party deals substantial Physical Damage Over Time, and provides a chance for Control Bridge Officer Abilities to trigger Boarding Party I on their targets. The types of anomalous problems encountered by explorers can be easily weaponized by the unscrupulous… or the desperate. Personal Ground Trait – Lower Decks Experience Grants a massive bonus to the damage of Bridge Officers after they use Ensign-rank Bridge Officer Abilities. 30 second recharge. A checkered background can be a useful thing, as insights and experiences cultivated in the lower decks of a starship offer lessons impossible to find in a simulation. Personal Ground Trait – Space Explorer is a Great Gig Grants a bonus to Kit Performance based on Kit Readiness, and also grants a small bonus to Kit Readiness. To Boldly Go Where No-One Has Gone Before is not just a matter of academic curiosity or national self-interest -- it provides for a rich, exciting life! Parliament Miracle Worker Surveyor Cruiser [T6] The rumors suggest that this state-of-the-art starship design boasts some of the latest technology developed by Federation engineers and scientists, allowing it to focus on complex large-scale engineering projects better than other ships in the fleet. These same sentiments have led to commissioned vessels from this class receiving some of the most epic assignments in recent telling. There's no denying its versatility and resilience, regardless of whether or not its reputation has been exaggerated. I mean, it can’t all be true. It’s a starship, not heaven. This starship features a Commander Engineering/Miracle Worker specialist seat and a Lieutenant Universal/Miracle Worker specialist seat. Details: Tier: 6 Faction: Federation or Federation-Aligned Requirement: Completed Tutorial Hull Modifier: 1.45 Shield Modifier: 1.125 Fore Weapons: 4 Aft Weapons: 4 Device Slots: 4 Bridge Officer Stations: 1 Lieutenant Tactical, 1 Commander Engineering/Miracle Worker, 1 Lieutenant Engineering, 1 Lieutenant Commander Science, 1 Lieutenant Universal/Miracle Worker Console Modifications: 2 Tactical, 5 Engineering, 4 Science, 1 Universal Base Turn Rate: 8.5 degrees/second Impulse Modifier: 0.15 Friction/Traction: 0.40 +10 Power to Weapons, +10 Power to Auxiliary, +5 Power to Engines, +5 Power to Shields Console – Universal – Controlled Gravimetric Demolition "Innovation" Ship Mechanic Cruiser Communications Array Command - Strategic Maneuvering Command - Shield Frequency Modulation Command - Weapon System Efficiency Command - Attract Fire Starship Mastery Package (Cruiser) Absorptive Plating (+Kinetic and Physical Damage Resistance) Rapid Repairs (+Regeneration) Enhanced Plating (+Energy and Radiation Damage Resistance) Armored Hull (+Maximum Hull Capacity) Efficient Demolition (Starship Trait) Admiralty Ship Stats: ENG: 71 SCI: 35 TAC: 20 SPECIAL: +20 ENG and SCI when ALONE Console – Universal – Controlled Gravimetric Demolition This set of equipment is used to demolish derelict hulls and stray celestial bodies in two discrete steps. First, a deflector platform is deployed to maintain a demolition field around the target. This captures all debris and ships in the area and renders them vulnerable to Kinetic damage, though excessively large ships may push through. Second, the vessel fires a stream of cohesive gravitons into the center of the field, projecting structural stress into it and dealing Kinetic damage over time to all Foes inside. This also draws nearby objects toward the target, ensuring tidy destruction. The beam then causes a massive detonation at the center of the field, dealing tremendous Kinetic damage to all Foes inside. This console additionally provides a passive bonus to Kinetic and Physical Damage Resistance Rating, as well as Exotic Particle Generation and Structural Integrity. This console may be equipped on any ship in any console slot. Starship Trait – Efficient Demolition While this Starship Trait is slotted, defeating Foes adds a small boost to the subsystem with the lowest power for a moderate duration, and for the next several seconds activations of Efficient Demolition provide an increased boost. Waste not, want not. Tidy destruction of stellar debris tends to involve the release of a fair amount of energy, and this ship has been modified to capture as much of it as possible. Star Trek Day!
On September 8th, 1966, the world first met a group of people, and a ship, that would change our lives forever. Pitched as “wagon train to the stars,” and brought to TV by the force of Lucille Ball’s will, Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek hit tiny television screens around the world and immediately captured hearts and minds. Through three seasons, and decades in syndication, The Original Series started a movement that still lasts today, more than half a century later. We live in a time where there’s more new Star Trek than ever before, and we’re joining with the rest of our Star Trek Family to celebrate the franchise’s birthday. From September 8th at 8am PT (17:00 CEST) til September 22nd at 10am PT 19:00 CEST), on all platforms, there will be a special Starfleet Museum in orbit above Deep Space Nine and Earth Space Dock. The museum contains the starring ships from Star Trek movies, television, and more. Hailing each ship will give you words from their crew, and both in universe and behind the scenes facts about the ship and show. Hailing all ten of the ships will grant you a special title: Historical Documents Expert. And make sure you head to https://www.startrek.com/day today for a full day of panels and more, including looks at Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Star Trek: Prodigy! It all starts today at 5:30 PT, kicking off with an epic orchestra opening. We hope you enjoy this celebration, Captains! Happy Star Trek Day! .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11496973-star-trek-day%21

Infiltrate and Destroy in Operation: Wolf!
“Frankly, Admiral, I don’t care how you do things in the Terran Empire. You’re over here now and you’re going to do things our way.” Admiral Quinn stood up from behind his desk and tossed the data pad filled with feedback notes onto his desk with an emphasizing clatter. He straightened his jacket as he paced to the side of his desk and put a hand on it to steady himself as he drew the other over his face in frustration. Once the calm had returned to him, he turned to Admiral Leeta as she took the liberty to pick up the data pad and peruse its contents. “Ok, fine. I didn’t know Exocomps were considered citizens here. That’s an easy enough fix.” Leeta said more to the data pad than Quinn. “That’s the least of my concerns here and you know it. Stop deflecting. You can’t possibly believe that will work on me.” Quinn composed himself. Leeta rolled her eyes. He was right though; he wasn’t anything like the Admiral Quinn from her universe. There, her antics had a much more measured effect upon him and she could usually get what she wanted. It was irritating having to actually work hard to meet his approval here, but, a welcome change of pace considering. The Federation may seem soft on the outside, but one thing Leeta was learning fast is that all those apparent weaknesses made for some excellent ablative armor in the form of many and varied allies; something the Alliance had taught the Terran Empire decades ago. She paused her review of the data pad and gave Quinn a look. “Seriously?” Quinn raised his eyebrows, “Problem?” Leeta turned the pad to face Quinn, “You object to the training program having an objective to eliminate your Terran counterpart?” Quinn nodded and turned to walk back around his desk, placing a hand on the back of the chair, “The parameters for the operation were clearly laid out, Admiral. This operation is a simulated data acquisition mission, not an assassination attempt…” It was Leeta’s turn to abuse the poor data pad this time. She sent it skidding across Quinn’s desk with a flip of her wrist that was as swift as her forgetting about it. She leaned forward on the desk almost predatorily. “It’s a target of opportunity. You have heard of those here in the Federation, haven’t you?” She scoffed, pushing herself off of Quinn’s desk and throwing her hands up in frustration. Now it was her time to pace. “I’m sorry, but nothing here makes any sense. It all looks the same, for the most part” she paused to examine a plant in the office corner, and then turned her gaze to the more familiar Earth out of the Operations windows, “but beyond that it’s… well… it’s just beyond me!” Quinn looked to the data pad and then back to Leeta as she continued her frustrated outburst. “You could say the same from my point of view. This sort of behavior would never be rewarded with the title of Admiral here…” Leeta shot him a look made of daggers. Quinn held his hand up to silence her before she spat venom too. “But my style of command would also not get me very far in the Terran Empire either.” Leeta nodded at that and folded her arms guarded against what he said next. Quinn continued, “This training operation is, at its core, an opportunity for us to learn about one another. To understand one another.” Leeta sucked on her teeth at that ridiculous Federation notion of friendship and coexistence overcoming adversity. Quinn noticed her rising objection and pivoted. “So that we can better know our enemies, and ourselves.” “And never know defeat” Leeta finished the thought, thankful that there was some common strategic thinking she could meet Quinn on for once. She sighed, unfolded her arms, and stalked over to the data pad. Picking it up and examining, momentarily, for any sign of damage. “Ok, fine” She began, extending an olive branch, “I’ll remove the target of opportunity directive. But I am not removing your counterpart from the simulation. You wanted this to be as realistic of a simulation as I could offer, so Quinn stays.” Quinn added, “And the Exocomps are not to be used as expendable assets.” “Mmm-hmm” Leeta affirmed as she scrawled notes onto the data pad to amend the feedback there. “Anything else?” “It’s all there, in priority order.” He sat down, “Just… try to think like a Federation officer.” She narrowed her eyes, “So… planting explosives on the secondary fusion reactors is still out?” Quinn nodded and motioned to the door, “Now you’re getting it. Dismissed.” Leeta jotted down the note with a dramatic swipe of a finger, gave a saccharin smile to Quinn and headed back to the team of security officers assigned to her who quickly fell in behind her and followed her out of Operations. Quinn exhaled and sat for a moment before turning to his communications monitor and issued an order to the computer to open a channel. He addressed the figure on the screen, “Captain, I hope you’re ready. Have your team report to Earth Space Dock within the week. Training operations for an assault on the Terran Earth Space Dock will begin as soon as you arrive.” With renewed aggressions from the Mirror Universe, and the windfall of a surprising new ally against the Terran Empire, Starfleet is conducting training simulations of a commando raid on the Mirror Universe Earth Space Dock to ensure its officers are well disciplined in performing counter-Terran operations. As part of the continuing training programs of the Khitomer Alliance, they have opened this simulation to Klingon, Romulan Republic, and Jem’Hadar Captains as well. Gather your commando team and prepare to test yourselves in a holo-simulation exercise against an enemy who can match your every step while you strike at the very heart of the Terran Empire in the new Task Force Operation – Operation Wolf. .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11496633-infiltrate-and-destroy-in-operation%3A-wolf%21

The Timeline Needs You!
The special Temporal Agent Recruitment event is coming back! Starting on Star Trek Day, September 8th on all platforms, you can create a new Temporal Agent character. Just make a new TOS Starfleet character, complete your tutorial, and pick up your special Temporal Agent assignments! Celebrate the anniversary of the original series premier with a new original series Starfleet officer. Temporal Agents are on the front lines of the Temporal Cold War, and as they complete missions they’ll unlock bonus rewards, including special account-wide rewards. Make your way through the ranks, advance your Starfleet career, and you’ll gain bonuses that will improve your equipment and give you special traits. We’ve updated the Temporal Agent goals to include some new ones, and removed goals from missions that are no longer in the game, so you don’t have to worry about finding Temporal Probes in places that you can no longer reach. You’ll be able to earn bonuses for reaching level 60, marks for all of the reputations that have been added to the game, and rewards for engaging in R&D and specializations. Existing Temporal Agents will be able to complete these new goals as well, and if you’ve already finished them, you can claim the rewards immediately. Remember, to become a Temporal Agent and gain access to the rewards, you must make a new TOS Starfleet character, during the event, then you must play the tutorial until you receive your special Temporal Agent transceiver device. Once you receive the device, your character is a Temporal Agent and you can complete the goals any time and claim the rewards, even after the event ends. Temporal Agent recruitment returns from September 8th to October 7th on all platforms. Since you'll be playing through the Original Series era content for this, we've gone through and done some visual updates and updated cutscenes for that era, as well as updating and improving the missions themselves. Enjoy the revitalized content! .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11496013-the-timeline-needs-you%21

PC Patch Notes for 8/24/21
Event Campaign – Part III: No Win Scenario Event: This Featured Event is the fourth of a series of upcoming Events that will participate in the third installment of our multi-event system known as an Event Campaign. This Event will include multiple TFOs previously featured individually in a combined Featured Event that will allow players to choose their preferred test each day. The event versions of “Kobayashi Maru” and “Arena of Sompek” can be accessed via the new Event UI, accessible within your Mission Journal by pressing on the “Events” Tab. Participating in this Event will give all players the opportunity to win a Temporal Hack Kit Module for their entire account! Kobayashi Maru and Arena of Sompek TFO Updates: Each have a fixed duration during this Event. Prior to the designated ending point, neither can be failed. During this Event, the Untimed/Infinite versions of these TFOs will be temporarily disabled. Each completion will reward a Choice of All Marks (replacing the usual Mark rewards). Both TFOs have had their Cooldown Timers temporarily disabled. Rewards: Players will be able to earn their Daily Progress once every 20 hours. Accruing a total of 14 days’ worth of Daily Progress will allow you to claim all of these rewards: Kit Module – Temporal Hack (Account-Wide Reward) 25,000 Dilithium Ore (once only). 3x Featured TFO Reward Boxes (once only). Each gives a choice of 1x Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade. Bonus Rewards: After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day, beginning at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion, and increasing for subsequent days. Zen Buyout Option: For players interested in instantly completing the To Hell with Honor Event event, we will be offering the option to purchase the remaining progress of this event at a scaling amount of Zen, as with other recent events. A Second Chance: Progress after the Event has ended will remain in an all new Second Chance interface, allowing the option to buyout rewards long after the Event has expired. For more information, please visit the “Do you Believe in a No Win Scenario?” blog at: https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11494733-do-you-believe-in-a-no-win-scenario%3F General: Resolved a data error that would prevent Captains who had earned the Sompek Pulsewave under the old Event Reputation system from being able to purchase the Mirror Universe Phaser Dual Pistols from the Phoenix Redemption Store (Tier 3). Resolved an issue that was preventing the "Floor is Lava" Kit Module from being affected by Kit recharge time bonuses Resolved inconsistencies between the power's description and tooltip of the Ruin Of Our Enemies Trait and implemented a cap of 100x triggers on the damage bonus (thus capped at 200% Bonus Damage). Clarified the tooltip on Universal Kit Module - Mudd's Time Device. Admiralty Pass Tokens and Endeavor Reroll Tokens are no longer included in rewards from their respective systems, but may now be purchased for Dilithium.Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11495323-pc-patch-notes-for-8%2F24%2F21

Reroll and Pass with Dilithium!
In our ongoing efforts to provide players with sources for their stockpiles of Dilithium, we have decided to introduce a new permanent way to spend Dilithium into Star Trek Online that will modify the behavior of existing gameplay in a low-impact manner. Our hope is that by providing more of this type of permanent way to spend Dilithium, the long-term health of the game’s economy can come closer to a stabilizing point. Beginning with this update, we have modified the method of acquiring the following tokens: Personal Endeavor Reroll Tokens Admiralty Assignment Pass Tokens Starting on 8/24/2021, players on PC may purchase these Tokens directly using Dilithium, at a price of 2,500 Dilithium apiece. This change is intended to appear on Console platforms on 9/8/2021. Previously, players had a chance to earn these resources by engaging with their respective systems, as randomized rewards that were sometimes included with other earnings. This method of earning will be disabled as of the date that the new purchase method goes live. Existing inventories of these tokens already owned by players will not be changed – you keep what you already have, and continue using them as intended! Obtaining additional tokens will be as simple as pressing the associated “Buy” buttons that have been newly added to the interface of these two systems, directly next to or above the existing display of a player’s current token count. We will continue to offer additional outlets for players’ Dilithium as well as keeping an eye on the impact this change may have on the game’s economy, while also developing additional options for future release. From across the quadrants, Captains of all species and creeds understand the value of occasionally pushing themselves to the limits – to find out just how far their equipment, and their willpower, can take them, and just how much fight they can muster when the situation is at its direst. Screw your courage to its sticking place, and dive headlong into these classic tests of mettle – dare to face the No Win Scenarios. This Event will include multiple TFOs previously featured individually in a combined Featured Event that will allow players to choose their preferred test each day, while earning Daily Progress toward a new grand prize reward. Defend the Kobayashi Maru in a starship-based simulation in a hazard-strewn space environment, or take on wave after wave of randomized enemy encounters within the dangerous confines of the Arena of Sompek. Participating in this Event will give all players the opportunity to win a Flyable Freighter and Epic-Quality Admiralty Ship for their entire account! Keep reading for details on these items, how you can participate in the Event, and what additional prizes may be earned. Take the Tests Again Two existing activities will be participating in this Event: Arena of Sompek – Ground TFO In the interest of strengthening the Alliance against its enemies, and providing entertainment, the Klingons have agreed to allow other members to participate in the legendary qaD HoS event. You’ve been invited to Qo’noS to participate as representatives of the Alliance. It will be good practice for the battles ahead, and should be good for morale. The Event version of the simulation ends after you complete Round 7. Kobayashi Maru – Space TFO The legendary Kobayashi Maru simulation has been updated to represent more of the risks of the modern galactic environment. Defend the ill-fated E.C.S. Kobayashi Maru from attackers amidst increasingly-dangerous waves of enemies, while avoiding randomized obstacles and hazards. The Event version of the simulation ends after you complete Round 6. While most of the action players will engage in during these TFOs have not changed for this event, a few minor adjustments have been made to each that will be present for the length of this Event’s run: As noted above, each has a fixed duration during this Event. Prior to the designated ending point, neither can be failed. During this Event, the Untimed/Infinite versions of these TFOs will be temporarily disabled. Each completion will reward a Choice of All Marks (replacing the usual Mark rewards) Both TFOs have had their Cooldown Timers temporarily disabled Review Your Results Viewing the details of this Event in-game is as simple as opening your Journal and navigating to the “Events” tab. From here, all of the pertinent information is at your fingertips, as are simple-to-use buttons that allow quick access to the associated Content for this Event. As a core feature of the updated Event System, all Progress Points gained toward completion of the Event are shared across your entire Account, and all earned Progress is automatically tracked and applied toward completing the Event. Players will be able to earn their Daily Progress once every 20 hours. Either of the above TFOs may be played as much as you like each day, so pick and choose how you prefer to gain Progress each day, and mix it up as much (or as little) as you like! Event Campaign III This Featured Event will be the third of a series of upcoming Events that will participate in the third installment of our multi-event system known as an Event Campaign. Players may earn 50 Event Campaign Progress for each day they participate in an eligible event. Buying out an eligible event will include up to 700 Event Campaign Progress. Each event’s buyout only grants as much Event Campaign Progress as is relative to the amount paid, after pro-rated discounts are applied. This means that paying half price, (because you participated in 7 out of 14 of the required days so far) will grant you 350 Event Campaign Progress. Essentially, you get what you pay for. Legacy Progress As with previous Events, we will continue offering the opportunity for players to utilize their old Event tokens to apply toward this Event. To access this functionality, select the “Legacy Progress” button on the Event UI. This button will only be visible to players that have tokens available to trade in. Rewards Accruing a total of 14 Days’ worth of Daily Progress will allow you to claim the Grand Prize of this Event. Temporal Hack Kit Module The Temporal Hack kit possesses chronology technology that scans selected, nearby life signatures and introduces asynchronous time-anomalies. As a result of the irregular energy flow, shields are instantly drained and reconstituted into an electrical discharge, while those influenced by the time distortion become immobilized. The asynchronous time signature is very fragile and can be easily be disrupted to allow the flow of time to regain its cohesion upon anyone affected. Zen Buyout Option For players interested in instantly completing this Event – whether that is due to worries over finding the play time to complete it, or simply wanting to move immediately into earning Bonus Rewards – we will be offering a method for buying out. Within the Event UI, an option will be presented that allows you to purchase the remaining progress that you need, for a scaling amount of Zen. The base price for this service will be 2,000 Zen, but every single Daily Progress that you earn will reduce that price on a percentage basis. Thus, if you have already earned 7 Daily Progress (half of the 14 required), this price will be reduced for you down to 1,000 Zen. The more you play, the cheaper the Buyout Option becomes, dynamically! A Second Chance Once this Event has ended, your opportunity to earn Progress Points will have passed. However, the Event System will store the progress that you made long after the Event has expired. Based on this stored progress, the option to Buyout the rewards will remain available through a new “Second Chance” section of the Zen Store. The price for this buyout is the same as what is offered while the Event is active, and scales in the same manner based on your amount of Progress Points accrued. Legacy Progress As with previous Events, we will continue offering the opportunity for players to utilize their old Event tokens to apply toward this Event. To access this functionality, select the “Legacy Progress” button on the Event UI. This button will only be visible to players that have tokens available to trade in. Availability The No Win Scenarios Event will become available for players on PC starting on August 24th, 2021 and continuing until September 14th, 2021. The Mars Class Comes to the Infinity Lock Box!
The Infinity Lock Box, containing prizes from nearly all previously-retired Lock Boxes, will gain a brand new prize on August 24th, 2021 (on PC). During this time, enemies defeated on both Ground and Space maps will have a small chance of dropping one of these prize-filled packages, while the Discovery: Far From Home Lock Box will be retired. This run of the Infinity Lock Box will contain an all-new Tier 6 Starship, the Mars Pilot Escort [T6]! As another refugee from a far-flung future, this Federation starship boasts strange new technologies and detached nacelles. It has been retrofitted to work with modern equipment and officer training from our time period, and should serve as a refreshingly nimble addition to any Captain’s fleet. Continue reading further on for the full details on this new starship offering! Mars Pilot Escort [T6] This starship's design was born in pursuit of alternative forms of FTL travel that do not rely upon a Dilithium-based reaction. The ship's sleek and streamlined structure, as well as relatively substantial propulsion subsystems, evolved from attempts to reduce warp bubble footprints, and otherwise facilitate the ship's travel using theoretical subspace propulsion techniques. Although the experiments with subspace manipulation ultimately failed to produce viable travel alternatives, the technology was still deemed suitable for defensive purposes, resulting in the Mars-class Escort project being deemed a qualified success. The vessel has been put into production by Starfleet with these specialized subspace emitters in place, but re-purposed to serve as deterrents against factions that might threaten the Federation. This ship features a Commander Tactical / Pilot Specialist Bridge Officer seat, and a Lieutenant Universal / Intel Specialist Bridge Officer seat. It is highly unstable however, and can only last a brief period of time. Upon expiring, it creates a subspace shockwave in normal space that will damage foes out to 5km from the impact point, as well as inhibiting their impulse engines' ability to maneuver in normal space. The distortion emitter is automated to detonate as soon as a foe is found to be within prime detonation range (Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11494723-the-mars-class-comes-to-the-infinity-lock-box%21

Upgrade Weekend!
Still striving to get the greatest performance out of your equipment? This weekend will be the perfect time to apply Tech Upgrades to your gear, as we’re doubling the amount of Technology Points earned from each one applied! From Thursday, August 5th at 8AM PDT (17:00 CEST) to Monday, August 9th at 10AM PDT (19:00 CEST), every Tech Upgrade used will apply twice as many Technology Points toward your next Upgrade! This in turn reduces the amount of Dilithium that must be spent to reach each Upgrade threshold, allowing Captains additional chances to attain both Mark and Rarity increases on their favored load outs. .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11493703-upgrade-weekend%21

Exchange Lobi for Freedom!
From July 27th at 8am PT to August 2nd at 10am PT, everything in the Lobi Store will be 20% off! Not sure what to spend your hard earned Lobi on? Well, during this time period, you'll be able to exchange that Lobi for the Freedom Class Explotation Frigate! Everyone needs a hobby, and for many, that hobby is retrofitting and flying antique starships – the more classic, the better! A recent incident where one such hobbyist from the future took their prized starship back in time to attempt to view the exploits of a certain prominent Admiral led to a confiscated starship.
