Delta Recruitment Returns! The special Delta Recruitment event is coming back! From April 12th at 8am PT to May 3rd at 12pm PT, on all platforms, you can create a new Delta Recruit character. Any newly-made 2409 Starfleet character, Klingon Defense Force character, or Romulan Republic character is eligible to become a recruit for the 21 days that this event runs! Delta Recruits gain a set of special goals in order to prepare for the Iconian War. Using a tesseract transceiver from the future, you’ll chase down information about the Iconians and complete other tasks to make sure your faction’s ready to handle the Iconians. Along the way you’ll earn great rewards, and gain special account unlocks so that your other characters are rewarded, too! Remember, to become a Delta Recruit and gain access to the rewards, you must make a new 2409 Starfleet character, a Klingon Defense Force character, or a Romulan Republic character during the event, then you must play the tutorial until you receive your special Delta Recruit tesseract transceiver device. We’re pleased to announce the return of the Research and Development Week! This event will run from Thursday, April 6th at 8am PT to Thursday, April 13th at 12pm PT on PC, and features several bonuses throughout STO that will give Captains of all levels a leg up advancing their rank in the Research and Development school(s) of their choice. Beginning on March 16th, the Voth are returning in their City Ship, intent on revenge against the Alliance for their actions in the Solanae Dyson Sphere. In both the Sphere itself and in a daring assault on the massive City Ship, Alliance Captains are gearing up to defend the galaxy against this new incursion. For three weeks, we’ll be running a special event in Star Trek Online called Voth Invictus. This Event will include multiple TFOs previously featured individually in a combined Featured Event that will allow players to choose their preferred test each day, while earning Daily Progress toward a new grand prize reward. The Grand Prize for the 2023 Event Campaign will offer players a choice as to what they receive, between the three following options: Option 1: Any Infinity Promo or Infinity Lock Box T6 Ship This ship will be a per character unlock. Option 2: 1,500 Lobi Crystals Once per account, on the character you claim them with. Option 3: Two 100% off Coupons for Tier 6 Ships in the Zen Store Once per account, tradeable between your characters.   This choice is only made once per Account, upon claiming the prize. The core gameplay of this Event Campaign remains the same as the previous one:  Participate in multiple Events scheduled over the next several months, to earn progress towards an extremely valuable prize. All of the following aspects of this system remain unchanged: Players may earn 50 Event Campaign Progress for each day they participate in an eligible event. Buying out an eligible event will include up to 700 Event Campaign Progress. Each event’s buyout only grants as much Event Campaign Progress as is relative to the amount paid, after pro-rated discounts are applied. This means that paying half price, (because you participated in 7 out of 14 of the required days so far) will grant you 350 Event Campaign Progress. Essentially, you get what you pay for. General:   The Digitizer Torpedo is now exempt from the Extra Large Torpedo shared cooldown. While initially a bug, having it exempt from the cooldown opened healthy build paths.  Improved the damage dealt by the probes created from the trait, Digital Compilation.   Resolved an issue with the text for the Zen Store product, Valdres Command Strike Wing Escort, to correctly describe the captain trait that is connected to the ship.   Updated the text for the 13th Anniversary Bundle in the Zen Store, to reflect that the EV Suit and Kit Module are unlocked as part of a combined product in the items tab of the Zen Store, after purchasing the bundle.  Updated the Patrols UI to sort patrols alphabetically.   Known Issues  Mudd’s Forged Alliance Choice Pack Incorrectly shows the image of the Elite Bridge Officer Upgrade Tokens in the Zen Store instead of the T6 Ship Upgrade Coupons it actually grants.
