14th Anniversary Bundle!
There are moments that change history, and then there are moments that define it. The Battle of Wolf 359 shook Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets to its core, but the tragedy of that day would help prepare Starfleet for the challenges that lay ahead in the latter half of the 24th Century. Almost 50 years later, Starfleet finds itself working to secure a galaxy in turmoil. The Undine, Iconians, the Hur’q, the Terran Empire, and the Borg, all of these and more have tested the mettle of the Federation. But through compassion and curiosity as much as courage, Starfleet stands strong. Even as these and other crises threaten to destabilize the known galaxy, there is hope that the Federation can return to an era of peace and exploration. To that end, Starfleet shipyards hope to produce more starships specialized in scientific and infrastructure roles. The Princeton, Ahwahnee, Chekov, and Atlantis class starships take up the torches of their fallen forebears. From scientific discovery, commerce protection, and deep space exploration, all of these ships are a signal that Starfleet is ready to return to the final frontier. Starting on February 15th, 2024 on PC (and appearing on Console on March 28th, 2024), players will have the option of purchasing the 14th Anniversary Wolf 359 Bundle which includes four brand new Federation starships, re-released ships, account wide exclusives and more! Type 3 EVA Phaser Rifle (ca. 2372) Modified Type 3 Phaser Rifle, specially refitted for use in areas lacking atmosphere. Also engineered with a special secondary fire designed to put distance between the user and any target that survives the blast by creating a narrow cone of kinetic-displacement energy on impact, dealing phaser damage and knocking back affected enemies. If wielded while your EV Suit is active, this weapon deals increased damage and its secondary firing mode recharges more quickly. Borg Kingdom Interceptor Probe (Hangar Pets) This Frigate-rank hangar deployable may be equipped on any starship with two hangar bays. Equipment and Abilities: 2x 360-degree Antiproton Beam Arrays Beam: Fire-at-Will I (permanently active) Mutual Annihilation I (self-destruct / ram combo) Reduced Base Hangar Launch Cooldown Liberated Borg Kingdom Nanoprobes (Space and Ground Traits) While in combat, the residual nanoprobes left over from your brush with the Borg King will gradually adapt themselves to combat scenarios. All adaptation stacks are lost when Combat ends. Space Trait Tooltip: +2 to +20 Kinetic Damage Resistance Rating (grows every 5 seconds) +2 to +20 Critical Severity with Energy Weapons (grows every 5 seconds) Ground Trait Tooltip: +2 to +20 Kinetic Damage Resistance Rating (grows every 2 seconds) +2 to +20 Critical Severity with Weapons (grows every 2 seconds) Atlantis Temporal Destroyer [T6] This class is another fine example of the modular starship experiments briefly explored by Starfleet in the mid-2300s and was configured to serve as one of modern Starfleet’s earliest destroyer designs. Though originally classified as a nimble light cruiser, this class underwent more offensive retrofitting just before the fated confrontation at Wolf 359. This ship comes with a Commander Tactical / Temporal Operative Bridge Officer Seat, and a Lt. Commander Universal / Intelligence Bridge Officer Seat. The field builds in strength and area over time, increasing both the angle of its cone-shaped area and the amount of physical damage it inflicts on foes in the area, thus making it more and more devastating the longer it can be maintained. This console emits an ever-increasing molecular destabilization cone, which will attempt to disassemble pieces of the hull of enemy starships. This cone starts very narrow and relatively weak, but builds in both area and damage intensity over time. As it strips away the enemies' hull, it also weakens their resistances, causing them to take increased damage while affected by this ability. This console also provides a passive increase to Exotic Damage based on your Energy Weapons Training Skill, and a bonus to Energy Weapon Damage based on your Exotic Particle Generators Skill. Tooltip: Affects Foes (5 Max) Scaling Radiation Damage -15 All Damage Resistance Rating Starship Trait – Temporal Tunneling While this trait is slotted, activating an Exotic Damage Bridge Officer Ability, or any Temporal Operative Bridge Officer Ability, will grant your ship a brief but powerful bonus to Weapon Firing Cycles. This may only trigger once every several seconds. Tooltip: When triggered (max once per 15 sec): 100% Firing Cycle Haste for Energy Weapons for 5 sec Experimental Weapon – Focused Particle Cannon Leaning into sources of non-traditional starship damage, this weapon uses similar technology to most ships' Deflector Dishes to stream a high-intensity burst of exotic particles at the enemy. The radiation damage inflicted by this weapon will scale with Auxiliary Subsystem Power instead of Weapons, and also leverages the captain's expertise with Exotic Particle Generators. Tooltip: 180’ targeting arc Moderate Radiation Damage (increases with Auxiliary Power and Starship Particle Generators skill) Ahwahnee Command Carrier [T6] An army fights on its stomach, but an interstellar navy needs a bit more than that. The Ahwahnee Command Carrier [T6] ensures the ships in its fleet stay well-supplied and well-protected, forming the backbone of any fleet it’s in through its robust power distribution and support capabilities. Its Type 7 Shuttlecraft provide intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, locating vulnerabilities on enemy ships that allies can exploit. Its power distribution array ensures that follow-up comes quickly, and its flagship command suite ensures this can happen again and again, for as long as it takes. These same capabilities shine in disaster recovery; a single Ahwahnee can conduct a search for survivors, power a colony, and replace local administrative functions, and it can do so on a moment’s notice. The ship is flexible, congenial, and enduring – much like Starfleet itself. This starship includes a Commander Science / Command specialist bridge officer seat and a Lieutenant Commander Engineering / Miracle Worker specialist bridge officer seat. This Console additionally provides increases to Maximum Auxiliary Power and Exotic Particle Generation. Tooltip: To friend and up to 12 Pets they control: +62.5% Weapon Cycle Speed for 35 sec 65% Chance to apply one of Beams: Overload I, Cannon: Rapid Fire I, or Torpedo High Yield I every few sec for 35 sec Starship Trait – Flagship Staffing Using a Command, Hull Heal or Shield Heal Bridge Officer Ability on an Ally or Allies resets the cooldown and reduces the shared category cooldown of weapon firing modes on that ship or ships. This effect has a moderate cooldown. Hangar Pets – Type 7 Shuttlecraft The Ahwahnee Command Carrier has two hangar bays equipped with a Federation Type 7 Shuttlecraft equipped with extra sensor equipment. When deployed, they harass enemies with Attack Pattern Beta and perform Close in Sensor Passes, debuffing foes' Damage Resistance Rating via both effects. Foes with lower than 50% average Shield Facings take even greater penalties to Damage Resistance Rating. Advanced and Elite versions of these powerful frigates can be obtained from the Dilithium Store and the Fleet Starbase, respectively. Chekov Intel Science Warship [T6] This class of starship began life as an experimental weapons testbed built around a simple premise: what is the narrowest distortion in spacetime we can create? Different designs were tried at different stages in development before a basket of technologies gathered from both Warp engines and Subspace emitters coalesced into the desired long narrow beam structure, and the ship moved into active development. It would be many years of field experiments and study, and well after initial deployment of the hulls, that their specialist systems would bear fruit: the ability to create a narrow corridor in local space where the rules were different. Thus, the Chekov’s Lance and Fusion Cutting Beam, long in view, were finally fired. The former creates and then releases a long and thin cavity of extreme gravity. The latter creates what is essentially a long and thin star, sweeping it gradually around the battlefield and through any hapless Foes caught in its deadly path. The vessel overall represents the drive and determination of Starfleet, and while it is a weapon of war, it is and has always been ultimately about the science itself. This starship includes a Commander Science / Intel specialist bridge officer seat and a Lieutenant Commander Engineering / Temporal Operations specialist bridge officer seat. Ship Details: Tier: 6 Faction: Federation or Federation-Aligned Required Rank: Must Complete the Tutorial Hull Modifier: 1.2 Shield Modifier: 1.2 Fore Weapons: 4 Aft Weapons: 3 Device Slots: 3 Bridge Officer Stations: 1x Commander Science / Intel 1x Lt Commander Engineering / Temporal Operations 1x Lt Commander Tactical 1x Lt Universal 1x Ensign Universal Consoles: 4 Tactical, 2 Engineering, 5 Science Base Turn Rate: 12 Impulse Modifier: 0.2 Inertia: 50 +10 Weapon Power +10 Aux Power Can Equip Dual Cannons Console - Universal – Fusion Cutting Beam Cloak "Gather Intel" Ship Mechanic Subsystem Targeting Science Warship Innate Weapon – Tunneling Graviton Lance Starship Ability Package (Science Vessel) Enhanced Particle Generators (+Exotic Damage) Advanced Shield Systems (+Shield HP) Enhanced Restorative Circuitry (+Healing) Reactive Shield Technology (+Shield Regen/Hardness) Threaded Particle Projectors (Starship Trait) Admiralty Ship Stats: Eng: 23 Sci: 47 Tac: 47 Special: +20 ENG and TAC when Alone Science Warship Innate Weapon – Tunneling Graviton Lance The Chekov Intel Science Destroyer comes equipped with a Tunneling Graviton Lance. After a short charge up time, this weapon fires a graviton beam forward, dealing significant Physical damage and dragging foes hit toward the center of the beam, gathering them in a line shape. Console - Universal – Fusion Cutting Beam Activating this Console creates a subspace partition in the shape of a thin column and creates within it what is essentially the environment of the core of a main-sequence star. The result is a beam which can be maintained only for a brief period and can be slowly moved around, sweeping across the battlefield and dealing very significant Fire damage to foes. It tracks whatever the ship's Target is at the time and hits everything in the column. This console additionally provides a passive bonus to Exotic Particle Generation and Critical Severity. This console may be equipped on any ship in any console slot. Tooltip: Targets current foe Establishes a Fusion Cutting Beam for 20 sec that tracks your ship’s primary target and sweeps around the battlefield, damaging Foes over time in a line To Foes in the Beam: Fire damage x2 per sec Starship Trait – Threaded Particle Projectors While this trait is slotted, using an Intel or Science Bridge Officer Ability applies a bonus to Exotic Particle Generation for a moderate duration. This bonus improves up to double with the ship's Critical Severity. This may trigger without timing or cooldown restrictions, but always refreshes itself rather than stacking. Tooltip: For 30 sec when triggered: +30 to +75 EPG based on current Critical Severity (unrestricted) Princeton Miracle Worker Cruiser [T6] This class is built as sturdy as they come, and boasts some of the most robust redundancies in Starfleet - which is saying something, considering how much Starfleet loves their redundancies and backups! Short of total destruction, ships of this class have been shown capable of surviving anything the galaxy can send at it, all while keeping its crew's safety at the forefront. This ship comes with a Commander Engineering / Miracle Worker Bridge Officer Seat, and a Lt. Commander Tactical / Command Bridge Officer Seat. Ship Details: Tier: 6 Faction: Federation or Federation-Aligned Required Rank: Must Complete the Tutorial Hull Modifier: 1.45 Shield Modifier: 1.05 Fore Weapons: 4 Aft Weapons: 4 Device Slots: 4 Bridge Officer Stations: 1x Lt. This devastation comes at the cost of bleeding off the ship's own integrity however, so must be used with the utmost of care, or at least with restorative capabilities close at hand. This technique drains your own Hull while active, but also inflicts major radiation damage to enemies based on your current Hull value. It will automatically shut off if your Hull drops below a certain percent, so keep yourself repaired while this is active to achieve the best results. Because the damage of this console is based directly on your Hull values, it cannot be strengthened by traditional means. Additionally, the damage it causes to yourself cannot be resisted. This console also provides a passive increase to Maximum Hull Capacity, and an increase to Healing Received that scales up as your Current Hull decreases. Tooltip: Toggle, for up to 20 seconds Each second while active: To enemies within 5km, Radiation Damage (16% of your Current Hull Capacity) To self, Radiation Damage (8% of your Max Hull Capacity) Automatically disabled if Current Hull Capacity drops below 33% of Max Starship Trait – Risk vs. Reward While this trait is slotted, receiving Hull Healing will cause Radiation Damage directed to your currently-targeted Foe (or nearest, if you have no target). The amount of damage is equivalent to the Healing Received. May only trigger a maximum of once per second, and does not trigger while Current Hull is above 90%. Hull Regeneration does not trigger this effect.Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11563513-14th-anniversary-bundle%21

The Klingon Empire Wants You!
The Klingon Civil War is over, and true-hearted warriors are needed to ensure a glorious future. All Klingons worthy of the name must join the fight! The Empire has redoubled its recruiting efforts, and from the shadows the most promising are redirected to a new path. New Klingon Captains will be known as Klingon Recruits, and they bring with them the backing of their shadowy patron. In 2021, the Klingon Starting Experience was completely reimagined, meaning that these Recruits will also have a completely reworked, modern starting story. There will never be a better time to make a Klingon in Star Trek Online than during the Klingon Recruitment event, which runs from February 15th at 8am PT to March 7th at 12pm PT on PC, and from February 20th at 8am PT to March 12th at 12pm PT on Xbox and PlayStation. Characters made during this time will be Klingon Recruits, and they will earn a host of new benefits and rewards to aid them in their leveling experience. Klingon Recruits are designed to emphasize the unique experience of being a warrior of the Empire. They have a number of advantages designed to close the gap that exists between new characters and characters that have been in Star Trek Online for years, all built around the glories of combat. But these Recruits have a secondary responsibility. Their mysterious patron is dead-set on removing Enemies of the Empire. After contacting Klingon Recruits during the tutorial, they are likely to move against these Enemies, attaching additional dangers and rewards to missions along the Klingon Storyline. Recruits who succeed against these Enemies will find themselves with a new T6 Bird-of-Prey that scales with their level. Each recruit’s own Transponder will give them details of their objectives. Klingon Recruits will have a list of goals that they can achieve at any time, and completing these goals will see them rewarded with equipment, Marks, and other rewards. Many are not only beneficial to the Klingon Recruit, but to all characters on the same account. Completing story arcs will reward you with a unique Ground Universal Kit, completing Ambush Kills in space and Melee Kills on the ground will unlock a Starship Trait and Ground Personal Trait, and all three of these rewards can be shared for all characters on your account. Klingon Recruits can only be created during the Klingon Recruit event. These recruits can be recognized by the Klingon Symbol next to their names. All Klingon Recruits will have an inherent bonus trait during the Klingon Recruit Event of periodically granting a cache of Dilithium Ore upon defeating enemies, a bonus which extends to your entire group—the Recruit’s mysterious patron appreciates the allies of their ally. This trait will only be available during this event and will be gone once the Klingon Recruitment event ends, so gather your Dilithium Ore while you can! Additional rewards are gained by leveling up, playing through story content up through the Klingon Civil War story arc, and finding special Klingon Recruit objectives on certain mission maps. Many of the same things that players do while levelling their characters will earn Klingon Recruits improved rewards! Some highlights include: T6 Scaling Bird-Of-Prey (Recruit and Account – See Below for More Details) Starship Trait that provides windows of opportunity to Cloak safely during combat and improves rewards for doing so (Recruit and Account) Special Bat’leth that scales as you perform Melee Kills (Recruit and Account) Ground Personal Trait that provides scaling bonuses for Melee Kills (Recruit and Account) Endeavor Perk Experience bonus (Recruit and Account) Ground Universal Kit – Piezoelectric Execution Sceptre (Recruit and Account) Very Rare Duty Officer with Crit Energy Weapons Officer Trait (Recruit only) Unique Duty Officer and Admiralty Card (Recruit and account) And lots more, including: Gear, Upgrades, Marks, Elite Marks, and Dilithium to help kick-start the recruit, as well as account-wide Marks, Elite Marks, Dilithium and Upgrades to share the glory! M’Chla Refit Bird of Prey With the recent return of some House Mo’Kai Warriors to the fold – previously lost to time and Aakar’s influence – Klingon engineers have gained a boon. Some of these warriors are engineers, who carry with them secrets of the ancient Klingon technology that guided the empire before the houses were united. They have combined this with the modern technology and ship design to make some startling breakthroughs, the first of which is the M’Chla Refit Bird of Prey. This ship, designed for new Klingon Recruits, is a breakthrough in technology that allows mass production on a scale the Klingon Empire had never before reached. Star Trek Online has come a long way. In fourteen years, we’ve produced more episodes than many televised Star Trek series, had more than 40 Trek actors reprising their roles and continuing their characters, and told some of our favorite stories in the Final Frontier. To celebrate that, our superstar Marketing Artist Jen Mei worked with Art Director Thomas Marrone to create an incredible image celebrating the hugely impactful life of Star Trek Online. The Duderstadt at your Command
The Duderstadt has been especially built both to study and to accommodate the various energy-based lifeforms that Starfleet has made peaceful contact with. This version of the ship houses a Calamarain, and while each Duderstadt is subtly different depending on the specifics of the Energy Being Habitat, they all have massively robust power transfer capacities – both to handle the incredible amounts of energy involved and to protect that energy from interference as they are invariably much more sensitive than a typical power flow. The experience has brought about numerous advances in power transfer technology – study becomes much easier when the scientists can simply ask the energy about the subjective qualia involved in the experience. When pressed into combat, the Duderstadt can reveal the enemy captain’s miscalculation in dramatic fashion, deploying the Calamarain and Rerouting Reserves to Weapons in a concerted display of raw energy. Duderstadt Miracle Worker Science Spearhead This ship contains a Commander Science/Miracle Worker Station and a Lt. Commander Engineering/Pilot Station. Ship Stats Tier: 6 Faction: Federation or Federation-Aligned Required Rank: Must Complete Tutorial Hull Modifier: 1.35 Shield Modifier: 1.15 Fore Weapons: 4 Aft Weapons: 3 Device Slots: 3 Bridge Officer Stations: Commander Science / Miracle Worker Lt Commander Engineering / Pilot Lt Commander Tactical Ensign Universal Lt Universal Consoles: 2 Tactical, 4 Engineering, 5 Science, 1 Universal (scales with level) Base Turn Rate: 13 Impulse Modifier: 0.19 Inertia: 55 +15 Weapon Power, +15 Engine Power Console - Universal - Energy Being Habitat Can Equip Dual Cannons Secondary Deflector Slot Sensor Analysis Subsystem Targeting "Innovation" Ship Mechanic Quantum Slipstream Drive Starship Mastery Package (Science Vessel) Enhanced Particle Generators (+Exotic Damage) Advanced Shield Systems (+Shield HP) Enhanced Restorative Circuitry (+Healing) Reactive Shield Technology (+Shield Regen/Hardness) Active EPS Management (Starship Trait) Admiralty Stats Eng: 40 Sci: 50 Tac: 36 Special: +8 ENG and TAC per SciShip Console - Universal - Energy Being Habitat Opening the Energy Being Habitat allows the Allied Calamarain to enter combat; as it does, it copies your Power Levels. Its attack deals greater damage based on your total Power Levels (most strongly influenced by Weapon Power). Reactivating the power recalls the Calamarain early. Whenever the Calamarain returns, it restores your Power Levels, adding 30 plus any extra stored to each Power Level over a period of time. For example, if it stored 100 Engine Power and returns after Reroute Reserves to Weapons has drained the ship's Engine Power to 20, it would add a total of 80+30 = 110 additional Engine Power for a period of time. This Console additionally provides bonuses to Critical Chance and Weapon Power. Starship Trait – Active EPS Management While this trait is slotted, whenever your power levels are on average below their current settings, you gain a large boost to Electro-Plasma System Flow. Whenever your power levels are on average above their current setting, you gain a large penalty to EPS Flow. Activating Beams: Overload, Beams: Fire at Will, Cannon: Rapid Fire, Cannon: Scatter Volley, or Reroute Reserves to Weapons triples the effect and adds additional Bonus Damage. Electro-Plasma System Flow increases the speed at which power changes to match current subsystem settings. If power is low, a high EPS Flow will refill it more quickly. If power is above-normal, a high EPS Flow will empty it more quickly, but a low EPS Flow will allow it to linger longer.Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11562333-the-duderstadt-at-your-command

The Last Generation Lock Box!
The Federation’s exploration of our galaxy never ceases, and those who paved the way must one day step aside for others to take up the mantle. Serving as guides, advisors, and mentors, they must grapple with the transition from the old into the new. This applies as much to the Federation’s foes as to the Federation itself, as enemies seek to find their place in the emerging pattern… The Last Generation Lock Box will bring Star Trek: Picard’s third season into Star Trek Online. With so many memorable items from the crew of the Enterprise-D’s last stand, the Lobi Consortium has made sure that there’s something for everyone. Read on to find out more. Duderstadt Miracle Worker Science Spearhead [T6] An advanced and capable ship from the Federation’s fleet in 2401, the Duderstadt class is the grand prize of the Last Generation Lock Box. Look for more details on this ship’s stats in an upcoming blog. Universal Console - Athan Prime Fleet Museum Beacon After Geordi La Forge’s tinkering with the Enterprise D, Starfleet realized the morale boosting potential of having some of its flagships of the past appear to turn the tide in important conflicts. This console acts as a beacon, calling into service a Hero Ship from the Athan Prime Fleet Museum. This ship will provide assistance for 60 seconds. It will summon one of the following ships at random: U.S.S. Voyager U.S.S. Defiant U.S.S. Enterprise-A U.S.S. Enterprise-D U.S.S. Stargazer U.S.S. Saratoga U.S.S. Lexington Kit Modules Two new kit modules can be obtained from the Last Generation Lock Box. Both can be used by any profession. The Vox Command Module temporarily makes the target a Martial Arts expert, granting them a number of martial arts moves and additional physical damage. When used on foes, it confuses them, causing them to turn on their allies. The Transporter Filter uses a Starfleet transporter technique developed to purge our young officers of the Borg infection, in 2401. This will cleanse the target of debuffs, Control Effects and DoTs. It also restores a great deal of health. Training Manuals Captains can give their Bridge Officers new training, with three new Bridge Officer Training Manuals. Tactical – Tractor Beam Vault Using your tractor beam, you catapult an asteroid at your target. The asteroid deals kinetic damage and ignores enemy shields. Engineering – Malicious AI Your engineer will program a Malicious AI and launch it into an enemy ship, creating a variety of ship wife anomalies, disabling the affected ship and damaging ship systems. Malicious AI deals Kinetic, Plasma and Radiation damage to the target, and disables enemy movement. For ships of Battleship or larger, it takes their impulse engines offline for 15 seconds. For all other ships, it holds the target in place for 15 seconds. If the target is destroyed before Malicious AI expires, it will jump to another target. Science – Organic Nebula Use science know-how to create an Organic Nebula near your ship. This Nebula will grant a stealth affect to all friendly ships within it, granting them additional Flight Turn Rate, Flight Speed, Defense, and Bonus Damage. Once a ship leaves the stealth field, it gains a 15% bonus to Damage for five seconds. This ability is affected by Starship Stealth. Radiolytic Phaser Weapons These new weapons are equipped with experimental Radiolytic Emitter technology stolen from Daystrom Station. Radiolytic Emitters deal bonus damage to low hull targets – if an enemy ship is below 25% Hull, these weapons deal additional Bonus Phaser Damage. The following weapon types can be obtained: Radiolytic Phaser Beam Array Radiolytic Phaser Dual Beam Bank Radiolytic Phaser Dual Cannons Radiolytic Phaser Dual Heavy Cannons Radiolytic Phaser Cannon Radiolytic Phaser Turret Wide Arc Radiolytic Phaser Dual Heavy Cannons 2399 Starfleet Phaser Weapons Both a 2399 Starfleet Phaser Stun Pistol and a 2399 Starfleet Phaser Sniper Rifle are available within the Last Generation Lock Box. These weapons do bonus damage to targets with low health. Changeling Phaser Full Auto Rifle The weapon of choice for the crew of the Shrike, this rifle does Phaser damage, and has an anti-coagulant technology that inhibits healing and causes bleeding. Worf’s Kur’Leth The brand new Klingon weapon that debuted in Season 3 of Picard, the Kur’leth is a mighty blade for an honorable warrior. The melee attacks of this weapon deal additional damage when its wielder is at high health, but it has a hidden surprise. The handle of the weapon conceals a small pistol, which deals bonus damage when its wielder is at low health. Starship Trait: Starfleet Intel Handler Your liaison in the intelligence services of your faction designates targets for you. Destroying these targets during the time window provides bonuses to Critical Chance for a moderate duration. Starship Trait: Fireball Escape You ride the shockwave of a warp core breach and harness some of its power. You are immune to one Warp Core Breach per 120 seconds, and being hit by one while immune in this way improves your Turn Rate, Flight Speed, Defense, and Critical Severity for a short time. Shrike Vanity Shield Add a little bit of intimidation to your favorite ship with the visuals of the terrifying Shrike. Lobi Store – Starfleet 2401 Uniforms Get the uniforms worn in Star Trek: Picard, in the Lobi Store with the launch of Star Trek Online: Both Worlds!Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11562163-the-last-generation-lock-box%21

Hail to the King, Baby
The Khitomer Alliance has produced fruitful collaborations between the engineers of some of the most powerful forces in all four quadrants. And while the Federation, Klingon Empire, and Romulan Republic have all contributed to this cause, the contributions of the Dominion have been less obvious. Until now. Alliance Rex Pilot Escort The Alliance Rex Pilot Escort, much like the great Dukan’Rex himself, is a bridge between quadrants. It draws primarily from the Jem’Hadar Fighter and the Defiant, and is employed similarly – groups of three, made of a lead ship and two wingmates. Fully capable of reconnaissance, patrol, screening for capital ships and strike missions of their own, they are versatile, nimble, and deadly. The Rex often commands entire squadrons of escorts in battle, coordinating them and forming the tip of the spear with its superior maneuverability and ability to strip enemy defenses before a devastating strafing run. Like all the ships of the Alliance, it stands in testament to what can be achieved if even the most different of species learn to set aside those differences and stand together. Then even the most impossible victories come within reach, and as all Jem’Hadar know, victory is life. This ship features a Lieutenant Tactical/Miracle Worker Seat and a Lieutenant Commander Engineer/Pilot Seat. The ships have the following abilities: Klingon Bird-of-Prey: Torpedo: High Yield I Attack Pattern Omega I Jem'Hadar Fighter: Cannon: Scatter Volley I Engineering Team I Federation Escort: Cannon: Scatter Volley I Attack Pattern Alpha I Romulan Warbird: Cannon: Rapid Fire I Attack Pattern Beta I This console also provides a passive boost to Critical Severity and Flight Speed. Experimental Weapon - Inertial Polaron Shunt The Inertial Polaron Shunt gathers excess energy from the Impulse Engines and uses it to accelerate Polarons to extreme velocities, directing them toward enemy ships. This deals considerable Polaron damage, but can happen a great deal more often if the ship is at higher speed. These specialized emitters are capable of forming localized distortions in subspace which can then be propelled toward a nearby foe, distorting their hull and shields and slowing their ship's ability to maneuver in normal space. These distortions are extremely unstable though, and cannot travel a long distance without dissipating, giving the weapon a short maximum range and an impact that is decreased with distance between its user and its intended target. Starship Trait - Inertial Supremacy Space Trait. During Beams: Fire at Will, Cannon: Scatter Volley, or Torpedo Spread, weapons fire applies a debuff to Foes' Damage Resistance Rating. The strength of the debuff depends on the current speed of your vessel.Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11561963-hail-to-the-king%2C-baby

Return to Wolf 359
Resistance is futile. You will disarm your weapons and escort us to Sector 001. If you attempt to intervene, we will destroy you. – Locutus of Borg The worst defeat in Starfleet History, and the largest single day loss of life in Starfleet History (at least until the Dominion War), the Battle of Wolf 359 is infamous in Starfleet’s history. While there was no way the Federation could have been prepared for the tragic combination of the Borg’s advanced technology and Jean-Luc Picard’s internal knowledge of Starfleet’s defense, many a Captain has spent time studying these events, wondering what they would have done had they been there. Now is your chance. The Battle of Wolf 359 is a brand new Task Force Operation coming to Star Trek Online with the release of Star Trek Online: Both Worlds. The Federation and the Khitomer Alliance have decided to begin a new training regime for veteran Captains, hoping that the lessons of the past will allow them to better engage the threat of the Mirror Borg. You will take command of an era appropriate Federation starship (while still retaining your current ship’s stats, just like Battle at the Binary Stars) and face a lone Borg Cube intent on your destruction. STO players long ago learned not to fear just a single Borg cube. How hard could one be to defeat, after all? Well. We’ll see…Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11561953-return-to-wolf-359

Random Elite Task Force Operations
Ever since the release of Random Task Force Operations, the call has come up from our highest geared players, “Why can’t we do Elite Random Task Forces?” Well, Captains, the time has come. As part of the release of Star Trek Online: Both Worlds, you’ll be able to queue up for Random Elite Task Force Operations for the very first time. As before, this feature will attempt to fill the queues of players who have picked a specific TFO first, and if there aren’t any, match players into a TFO chosen from a list. Elite TFOs are some of the hardest content in Star Trek Online, so we don’t recommend diving into them unprepared. Make sure your ship and gear are up to snuff, and if you don’t know how to do that, turn to your fellow players for help and advice. Unlike Advanced and Normal Randoms, playing and completing a Random Elite Task Force Operation will grant you a choice of elite crafting material, rather than one based on the type of TFO, and will give you a chance at getting an extra material! This is in addition to the rewards you already receive for doing a Random TFO. Enjoy, Captains, and get ready! These TFOs are not for the faint of heart. .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11561673-random-elite-task-force-operations

The King and Collective Event!
It’s time to celebrate our anniversary, Captains. As the threat of the Borg King looms, your Captain will battle through stories past and present to earn a brand new Khitomer Alliance ship! Event Progress Participating in this event grants daily progress towards the Grand Prize: The Alliance Rex Pilot Escort. The Grand Prize requires 40 daily progress, and Captains can earn daily progress once per account per day by playing either the new episode or Task Force Operation released this season, or any of the other episodes or Task Force Operations in the event. Completing the episode awards two points, while completing a TFO or the Particle Stabilization awards one point. They are as follows: “Taken by Surprise” (episode) “Scorpion’s Abyss” (new episode) “Guillotine” (space TFO) “Battle of Wolf 359” (new space TFO) “Omega Particle Stabilization” (minigame) Once Captains have obtained 40 daily progress on their account, they can claim the Alliance Rex Pilot Escort After that, the event will still be playable, granting a scaling Dilithium reward that begins at 8,000 Dilithium Ore and scales by 1,000 Dilithium Ore for every day you participate in the event, up to a cap of 50,000 Dilithium Ore per day. Captains will also have the option to purchase their remaining progress in the event with Zen. The price for this buyout will be pro-rated, based on the amount of progress a Captain has completed. We’ll have more details on this ship in an upcoming blog!Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11561653-the-king-and-collective-event%21
