Unravel the Tholians!
Nenid opened her eyes, only to see the worried face of Centurion D’mev staring down at her. “Status report,” she said hoarsely, having taken in a lungful of smoke during the last exchange of fire. Coughing, she got to her feet with the junior officer’s assistance and took a seat in the command chair. “Preferably before the Tholians manage to find and destroy us, if you please, Centurion. “ D’mev blanched before speaking. “Commander, we are under cloak, per your orders. A Tholian fleet is massing within the Azure Nebula; it seems we encountered their vanguard during our investigation of the temporal anomalies there.” Nenid nodded as she called up tactical data to the main viewscreen. And in a moment, a mission of science becomes a mission of war, she thought silently. “Engineering,” she said as she activated her command channel. “What’s our situation? That volley from the Tholians nearly rattled all of my teeth out of my skull. I hope my ship’s in better condition.” “Damage control operations have begun,” replied the chief engineer from her chair’s personal speaker. “I can’t speak for your dental situation, Commander, but the ship will be ready to fight in minutes, per Republic battle doctrine. Engineering, out.” Nenid chuckled to herself as she beckoned her young, Academy-fresh science officer. He was clearly shaken; this was his first actual experience with space combat. Nenid silently vowed to herself that it wouldn’t be his last. “Science officer,” she said confidently as she studied the battle data flowing into view upon the main viewscreen. “Begin passive scans of the Tholian fleet. I want to know their combat disposition, ship types, crew compliments – everything – and quickly.” As the young Reman at the nearby science station began to comply with a single “Yes, Commander” in response, Nenid turned to her communications officer. Another fledgling barely old enough to enlist, she thought. I ask for veterans and they send me children. So be it. Here begins the lesson. “Comms,” Nenid said calmly, hoping to inspire some composure in the young Romulan officer. “Prepare one of our cloaked Comm-Drones; set it for tight-beam transmission to the sector relay station. Prime it to self-destruct after it beams the message back to Fleet Command. Understood?” He nodded in response as he carried out his orders. “Commander,” he asked softly. “What shall I have the drone transmit?” “Everything we’re about to learn on that Tholian fleet,” Nenid replied with a confident smirk. “That, and a very cordial invitation to the Republic Fleet and any allies that wish to join us here.” She paused as her smirk turned into a predator’s grin. “I’d hate to blow all of these insects back to whatever gods they hold dear by myself.” * * * Join in as part of a strike force to defeat the Tholian Fleet in the Azure Nebula. The Tholian Red Alert will be available for Captains level 50 and up from Thursday, March 26th at 8am PT to Monday, March 30th at 10am PT (Romulan players must have selected a faction). Players will be directed to an alert when a Tholian fleet appears in Sector space, or you can access the alert from the Task Force Operations page. The queue rewards 35 marks of your choice, with no cooldown! .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11394653-unravel-the-tholians%21

Purchase T1-T4 Ships with Dilithium!
The Khitomer Alliance has begun a brand new initiative in the wake of new technological advances across the galaxy. They’ve noticed no surplus of young, ready Captains looking to explore the final frontier, but there is a surplus of older model ships, perfectly capable, but waiting for the right Captain to take them up. With that in mind, we’re making a change to all Tier 1 through Tier 4 ships in the Ship Requisition Store. These ships will no longer require Zen to requisition. Instead, they will all be requisitioned through a modest donation of Dilithium. Here’s how this will break down: TIER New Price for Ships that previously cost Dilithium New Price for Ships that previously cost Zen 1 1,000 15,000 2 2,500 37,500 3 5,000 75,000 4 10,000 150,000 This is a huge price discount – following current Zen/Dilithium conversion rates, you could now buy sixteen Tier 2 ships for the same price as before, and with the many ways to obtain Dilithium in the game, all of these ships have the potential to be free to players new and old. As these ships are now dilithium purchases and under deep discount, they will now be per-character unlocks, instead of per-account. (If you’ve previously purchased the ship with Zen, it will remain reclaimable on all of your characters.) The only ship that won’t change at this time is the T1 Prototype Light Cruiser Explorer. This change goes into effect this week on PC, and April 9th on Xbox One and Playstation 4. .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11394603-purchase-t1-t4-ships-with-dilithium%21

Save 30% on R&D and Doff Packs!
Starting today, we’re making some much needed updates to the Duty Officer Packs on PC, and having a massive sale on our Infinity Promotion Packs – both Research and Development and Duty Officer! These packs can open into a T6 Starship, including the classic Constitution Class and the brand new Section 31 Battlecruiser! Here’s the updates we’re making: We’re adding a Duty Officer Pack Bundle, with a starting, pre-sale price of 1000 Zen. This pack includes a Fleet Pack, a Delta Pack, a Gamma Pack, and a Romulan Pack. Each of those four packs will now have an additional Uncommon and Rare Duty Officer. The Reinforcement Pack is being retired. The Tuffli Freighter from the Reinforcement Pack is now a potential reward in the Gamma Pack, replacing the previous potential reward of four fleet modules. The four fleet module potential reward is being removed from the Delta Pack, and we are increasing the odds of winning one of the bonus traits instead. The Delta, Gamma, Romulan, and Fleet Packs will now have a pre-sale price of 300 Zen. In addition, until March 22nd at 10am PT, we’re putting all Infinity Duty Officer and Infinity Research and Development Packs on sale for 30% off! .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11391683-save-30%25-on-r%26d-and-doff-packs%21

PC Patch Notes for 3/19/20
General: Resolved an issue that would sometimes cause item names to not appear in various stores. Duty Officer Pack Updates: Removed the Reinforcements pack from the Duty Officer tab Changed the price of the Gamma, Delta, Romulan, and Fleet Duty Officer Packs to 300 ZEN Added an Uncommon and Rare Duty Officer to each of the 4 themed packs mentioned above so they give out 4 common, 3 uncommon, and 1 rare along with their bonus item. These have a chance for a higher quality so you should never see more than 4 common and you should always get 9 Duty Officers total. Moved the bonus prize in the Gamma pack of 4 fleet modules out and replaced it with the Tuffli Class Freighter. Removed the 4 Fleet Module Rewards from the Delta Pack which increases the chance at winning the traits as a bonus reward. Created a Duty Officer bundle which has 1 of each of the 4 themed doff packs in them for a discounted price. Systems: Removed the EC cost associated with altering the Name and Registry of player starships.Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11392903-pc-patch-notes-for-3%2F19%2F20

Hearts and Minds Returns for Friday the 13th!
Sometimes exploration of new ideas and new technologies leads to dark places. In Star Trek, we’ve seen many a cautionary tale about omniscient supercomputers, time travel, genetic manipulation, and telepathic oppression. The pursuit of knowledge isn’t always safe or pretty. Hearts and Minds is a mini-mission that explores the consequences of some unconventional research gone awry. This mission is a “story in one act,” so you can easily finish it in a quick play session, and it’s easy to complete it with any additional characters that you may have on your account – which is handy, because the mission offers a special reward. Since Hearts and Minds is a horror story, it will only be around for Friday the 13th, whenever that may fall on the calendar – and perhaps another sufficiently horrifying day that we might choose! Fortunately for the squeamish, Hearts and Minds is creepy, but not graphically gruesome. After all, what you can imagine is sometimes more horrific than anything you can be shown. Hearts and Minds takes place in the Donatu sector of the Eta Eridani sector block, at a lunar research station in the Donatu system and characters level 11+ can accept this mission. Hail Franklin Drake (Federation officers, Romulans, and Jem'Hadar allied with the Federation) or K’Men (Klingon officers, Romulans, and Jem'Hadar allied with the KDF) to undertake this mission. It is available to play from around 6pm PT March 12th until around 6am PT March 14th. NOTE: If you have completed the mission before, you will be able to acquire and complete it again to earn another copy of the reward. We’ll see you in-game! .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11383163-hearts-and-minds-returns-for-friday-the-13th%21

Help Choose the Summer Ship, Live!
Each year, as the sun gently sets on Risa, the citizens of the Federation, Klingon Empire, Romulan Republic and the Dominion take a moment to sit, and reflect upon the beautiful day they’ve had, hunting for Horga’hns, jetpacking through the sky, or racing with their friends. That beautiful, peaceful view is enhanced by a brand new ship, sitting in the sky, waiting for those Captains to take it out for a spin. This year will be a little different. This year, those Captains will look up in the sky and know they’ve had a hand in choosing what ship will be made. We’re trying something a little different with this year’s Summer Event Ship. Normally, we have a big internal pow-wow about what ship we want to do, and the team chooses their favorite concept and moves forward to the design phase, behind closed doors. But this year, we’re opening up the design phase to some of our team who normally don’t get a chance to flex their artistic muscles on ship design, and we’re leaving the choice of what the summer ship will be up to you. For the next four weeks, starting tomorrow, we’ll have a member of the STO team on our weekly stream, Ten Forward Weekly. They’ll be coached by a member of our ship design team or our concept artist, and all four of them will be assigned the same basic concept: a Risian Science Ship. For the next two hours, they’ll hand draw a design for a ship based on that concept. When all four drawings are done, we’ll put them up on our website and allow you to vote for your favorite. PC Patch Notes for 3/5/20
Event Campaign – Part II: This Featured Event will be the first of a series of upcoming Events that will make up the second installment of our multi-event system known as an Event Campaign. Event Campaign – Part II updates: Event Campaign II will span a total of FOUR separate Featured Events, spanning the majority of the upcoming year of PC releases. The Grand Prize for Event Campaign II will offer players a choice as to what they receive, between the two following options: Option 1: Z-Store Coupon for 100% Off a single Tier-6 Starship plus 200 Lobi Crystals Option 2: 1,000 Lobi Crystals This choice is only made once per Account, upon claiming the prize. Players may earn 50 Event Campaign Progress for each day they participate in an eligible event. Buying out an eligible event will include up to 700 Event Campaign Progress. For more information, please visit the “Return to the Battle at the Binary Stars!” blog at: https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11377343-return-to-the-battle-at-the-binary-stars%21 Event: Battle at the Binary Stars returns!: Battle at the Binary Stars returns as a Featured Task Force Operation! This event will last for 3 weeks and Captains can earn an all new reward! This event version of the Battle at the Binary Stars Event can be accessed via the new Event UI, accessible within your Mission Journal by pressing on the “Events” Tab. Battle at the Binary Stars returns updates: TFO Rewards include a Choice of All Marks. Instead of only including Discovery Marks. There is no Cooldown – play it as frequently as you like! Temporarily removed from “Random TFO” selection. Normal, Advanced, and Elite versions all offer Event Daily Progress upon first completion, once per day per account. Players must have completed their faction’s Tutorial, and chosen a primary Allegiance (if applicable) before being able to participate in the Event version of this content. Advanced and Elite versions also have level requirements of 50 and 60, respectively. Rewards: All players may complete the Battle at the Binary Stars FTFO in order to earn their Daily Progress once every 20 hours, in addition to TFO’s standard rewards. Earn a total of 14 days’ worth of Daily Progress to become eligible to claim all of these rewards: Universal Kit Module – DOT-7 Drone Fabrication (and Account-Wide Unlock for Reclaim). DOT-7 Non-Combat Drone (and Account-Wide Unlock for Reclaim). 25,000 Dilithium Ore (once only). 3x Featured TFO Reward Boxes (once only). Each gives a choice of 1x Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade. Bonus Rewards: After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day, beginning at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion. Earning Bonus Progress each day thereafter will increase this reward by an additional 1,000, and we have increased the cap on how high this value may scale to a value that is unreachable during this Event (thus effectively unlimited!). All Bonus Progress Rewards are rewarded a maximum of once per day, per account, and are immediately and automatically granted to the active character when the requirement is met. Zen Buyout Option: For players interested in instantly completing the Battle at the Binary Stars FTFO event, we will be offering an updated method for buying out. Within the new Event UI, an option will be presented that allows you to purchase the remaining progress that you need, for a scaling amount of Zen. A Second Chance: Progress after the Event has ended will remain in an all new Second Chance interface, allowing the option to buyout rewards long after the Event has expired. DOT-7 Drones: Players that completed this Featured Event will be rewarded with two different methods of summoning their own DOT-7 Drones: Universal Kit Module – DOT-7 Drone Fabrication: This kit module fabricates a DOT-7 Utility Drone that will follow and assist you. It will periodically attempt to cripple the damage resistance, damage output, and/or movement speed of nearby enemies by using Fuse Armor and/or Weapons Malfunction. DOT-7 Non-Combat Drone (Vanity Pet): This automated replica is only equipped with the most basic AI subroutines and should be incapable of causing issues even when exposed to hostile technology. Obtaining these rewards on any character on your account will unlock the ability to reclaim each of them on other characters, via the Reclaim Store within the Events UI. You may only reclaim this item on characters that do not already own one. For more information, please visit the “Return to the Battle at the Binary Stars!” blog at: https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11377343-return-to-the-battle-at-the-binary-stars%21 Legacy Progress: Veteran players that have participated in previous Featured TFOs may still be in possession of multiple “Featured TFO Commendation” items, which are no longer used in the new Event System. Players that still have these will be able to turn them in for Daily Progress and Event Campaign Progress. Each upcoming eligible event will have an option to Apply Legacy Progress to the requirements present. For those of you who had past Featured TFO projects still slotted in the old Event Reputation UI, those projects will be auto-completed, granting you the rewards. Research and Development and Junior Officer Weekend!
We’re pleased to announce the return of the Research and Development Weekend! This event will run from Thursday, March 5th at 8AM PT to Monday, March 9th at 10AM PST, and features several bonuses throughout STO that will give Captains of all levels a leg up advancing their rank in the Research and Development school(s) of their choice. For those Captains looking specifically for extra help with their projects, all R&D packs throughout the game will give out an extra 25% of the items they currently disperse for the duration of this event. Queue R&D Material Reward Packages (Normal, Advanced and Elite) will reward 25% more R&D Materials and have a chance to reward a Catalyst. Alternatively, Captains wanting to advance through Research and Development schools as fast as possible should seek out Harvest Nodes, located in mission maps throughout STO, which will not only disperse 2 extra R&D Materials each time they are used, but will also reward 10 Dilithium Ore and have a chance to give out a R&D Catalyst during this event. For all Captains that work on a Research and Development project during this weekend event, those projects will reward an extra 50% of the appropriate Research and Development School XP. This includes projects to make components as well as those to make items. From Thursday, March 5th at 8AM PT to Monday, March 9th at 10AM PST, we are running a special weekend event where you can earn Bonus Commendation XP by completing any Duty Officer assignments! To those junior officers who work tirelessly in cramped Jefferies Tubes, perish namelessly on away missions, or provide the endless streams of reports and analysis necessary for a starship to function – this event is dedicated to you! During this event, you’ll gain a 50% increase in all Commendation XP earned by completion of Duty Officer assignments. You don’t need to do anything special for this bonus – it’s automatic. Receive a FREE* special Purple quality duty officer with a unique active roster power by speaking with your duty officer contact. For Starfleet officers and Romulan allies, this is an engineering Exocomp duty officer; for KDF officers and Romulan allies, it is a Reman duty officer. *This is not available if you already claimed it the last time we ran the event. Duty officer packs** opened during the event will each have a FREE additional Green quality or better duty officer inside. This only applies to C-Store purchased packs, not to those awarded during rank-up, from recruitment assignments or mini-packs. Also, it applies only to packs opened during the event, even if they are purchased prior to the event. **The packs included in this offer are: Delta Alliance Duty Officer Pack, Gamma Quadrant Duty Officer Cadre, Reinforcements Duty Officer Pack, Fleet Support Duty Officer Pack, Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Pack, Fleet Support Duty Officer Pack, Klingon Empire Duty Officer Pack and Federation Duty Officer Pack. The Academy particle scanning events are now part of the Junior Officer Appreciation Event! Visit Starfleet Academy or Klingon Academy during the event and speak to Professor Meyer or Commander B’Tama. Pick a cadet to train, then engage in scanning particles all about the academy grounds. As you scan and capture particles you’ll help to train the cadet, and in exchange your faction will release a new random Duty Officer to you. The more particles you scan, the better the quality of the officer you can claim! Scan a minimum of 5 traces to be rewarded a Common Duty Officer Scan a minimum of 25 traces to be rewarded a Uncommon Duty Officer Scan a minimum of 50 traces to be rewarded a Rare Duty Officer Scan a minimum of 75 traces to be rewarded a Very Rare Duty Officer Remember, additional reserve roster duty officer slots (in increments of 25 and 100) are available from the in-game C-Store, for up to a maximum of 500 reserve roster spaces. Activating this console will fire a stream of nanites at the target. Upon infecting it, the nanites will override its normal targeting, causing it to attack its former allies. While it attacks its former allies, its damage output will be significantly increased, and when the effects of the nanites wear off, the ship will be disabled for a short duration. This console additionally provides a passive boost to Critical Severity and Weapon Power. It can be equipped in any console slot, on any ship. You may only equip one of these consoles. Starship Trait – Secret Mission While this trait is slotted, every several seconds in combat, you will receive a secret mission to take out a nearby enemy. When that foe gets out of range or is defeated, you will acquire a new marked foe as your new secret mission. The marked foe is less resistant to you, and when they are defeated, a swarm of Section 31 Attack Drones will spawn to hunt down other targets. via GIPHY Innate Ability – Dark Mode The Section 31 Command Heavy Battlecruiser additionally comes with Dark Mode. When activated, Dark Mode will give your ship a massive stealth bonus, rendering you invisible to any nearby sensors. However, this boost comes with a risk – your shields will be offline for as long as Dark Mode is active. When Dark Mode ends, you gain a major damage boost for a short duration. Dark Mode can only be activated out of combat. via GIPHY Innate Ability - Swarm Mode This vessel comes with a built in Swarm Mode. When activated, hundreds of fighter vessels will pour out of your ship, and fire on anything hostile that approaches you. A number of these drones will frequently peel off from the main swarm to attack any larger vessels that approach you. Activating Swarm Mode will increase your ship’s maneuverability, but at a small price to hull capacity. Swarm Mode cannot be activated while Dark Mode is active. Admiralty Bonus Event!
Starting this Thursday, we’re launching a brand new weekend event, the Admiralty Bonus! From February 27th at 8am PT to March 3rd at 10am PT, your Admiralty missions will give out bonus rewards! During this special event, you’ll find that all of your assignments give out double Campaign XP, allowing for faster progression, no matter who’s missions you’re completing. Get in good with the Ferengi, serve the Federation or the Klingon Empire, or help rebuild the Romulan Republic. In addition, all Tour of Duty missions will award bonus Dilithium Ore during this event! As part of our ongoing efforts to balance the game’s economy, we’re also making some changes to how Admiralty rewards work. Specifically, we’re changing the rewards on two of the Tour of Duty campaigns. The Klingon Campaign will now offer 40,000 Fleet Voucher Dilithium as a reward, and the Ferengi Campaign will now offer 30,000 Dilithium Ore Bonus Pool. Return to the Battle at the Binary Stars!
Return and Re-Enact! Beginning on March 5th, 2020, captains from all factions will be invited to participate in a Featured Event version of this re-enactment of a pivotal military conflict in the histories of both the Federation and the Klingon Empires. While the Event version of the Battle at the Binary Stars TFO is available, Captains may participate daily to earn progress towards brand new Featured Event rewards, as well as earning progress in our next Event Campaign. Continue reading for full details! Event Campaign – Part II This Featured Event will be the first of a series of upcoming Events that will participate in the second installment of our multi-event system known as an Event Campaign. For Event Campaign II, a few changes have been made. More Events! Event Campaign II will span a total of FOUR separate Featured Events, spanning the majority of the upcoming year of PC releases. As a result of this increase in length, the requirements for receiving the Campaign Grand Prize have been increased from 2,100 Progress to 2,800 Progress. More Prizes! The Grand Prize for Event Campaign II will offer players a choice as to what they receive, between the two following options: Option 1: Z-Store Coupon for 100% Off a single Tier-6 Starship 200 Lobi Crystals Option 2: 1,000 Lobi Crystals This choice is only made once per Account, upon claiming the prize. The core gameplay of this Event Campaign remains the same as the previous one: Participate in multiple Events scheduled over the next several months, to earn progress towards an extremely valuable prize. All of the following aspects of this system remain unchanged: Players may earn 50 Event Campaign Progress for each day they participate in an eligible event. Buying out an eligible event will include up to 700 Event Campaign Progress. Each event’s buyout only grants as much Event Campaign Progress as is relative to the amount paid, after pro-rated discounts are applied. This means that paying half price, (because you participated in 7 out of 14 of the required days so far) will grant you 350 Event Campaign Progress. Essentially, you get what you pay for. Console players will see minor adjustments to this when Event Campaign II launches on those platforms. We intend to announce those changes when they are closer to going live. One thing that we can announce now for Console Captains: due to some technical issues, To Hell with Honor will no longer be launching with Legacy on Xbox One and Playstation 4. Battle at the Binary Stars will be in its place, as part of the anniversary event, and it will grant progress towards the anniversary ship. The first Event Campaign on Xbox One and Playstation 4 will be a three week run of To Hell with Honor. More details on that coming soon. Binary Features The Event version of the Battle at the Binary Stars TFO will see a few small changes, to account for its placement as a Featured Event. TFO Rewards include a Choice of All Marks (instead of only including Discovery Marks) There is no Cooldown – play it as frequently as you like! Rewards Earn a total of 14 days’ worth of Daily Progress to become eligible to claim all of these rewards: Universal Kit Module – DOT-7 Drone Fabrication (and Account-Wide Unlock for Reclaim) DOT-7 Non-Combat Drone (and Account-Wide Unlock for Reclaim) 25,000 Dilithium Ore (once only) 3x Featured TFO Reward Boxes (once only) Each gives a choice of 1x Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade Players may notice that the amount of Dilithium Ore rewarded has been shifted to place a larger focus on Bonus Progress functionality, and we have increased the base rewards for Bonus Rewards. Now, upon claiming this Grand Prize (whether earned or purchased), your account will immediately become eligible for Bonus Progress. The first Bonus Progress rewarded will be accompanied by a reward of 8,000 Dilithium Ore. Earning Bonus Progress each day thereafter will increase this reward by an additional 1,000, and we have increased the cap on how high this value may scale to a value that is unreachable during this Event (thus effectively unlimited!). The following table shows an example of how Bonus Progress Rewards are now laid out: # of Bonus Days Dilithium Ore Rewarded 1 8,000 2 9,000 3 10,000 4 11,000 5 12,000 (etc.) (etc.) 42+ 50,000 All Bonus Progress Rewards are rewarded a maximum of once per day, per account, and are immediately and automatically granted to the active character when the requirement is met. DOT-7 Drones The charm of the aging Starfleet DOT-7 Drone design is not lost on many modern captains, to the point that replica units utilizing its likeness have become quite popular amid the resurgence of interest in mid-23rd century designs as a whole. Players that completed this Featured Event will be rewarded with two different methods of summoning their own DOT-7 Drones: Universal Kit Module – DOT-7 Drone Fabrication Fabricates a DOT-7 Utility Drone that will follow and assist you. It will periodically attempt to cripple the damage resistance, damage output, and/or movement speed of nearby enemies by using Fuse Armor and/or Weapons Malfunction. The DOT-7 is also equipped with an automated repair and support field that enhances the performance and health of nearby electronic allies such as turrets and drones. In case of emergencies, it is also equipped with a fusion welder that can be used as a last line of self-defense against enemies at short range. DOT-7 Non-Combat Drone (Vanity Pet) This automated replica is only equipped with the most basic AI subroutines and should be incapable of causing issues even when exposed to hostile technology. It will passively follow its owner, but will retreat if faced with combat. Obtaining these rewards on any character on your account will unlock the ability to reclaim each of them on other characters, via the Reclaim Store within the Events UI. You may only reclaim this item on characters that do not already own one. Legacy Progress This Featured Event will continue to honor Legacy Progress, the same as the last several previous Events. Availability Re-live this thrilling confrontation between Starfleet and a warring Klingon Empire alongside your allies once more, when the Battle at the Binary Stars returns to its Featured status once more. Face this challenge with a Vulcan Hello on PC from March 5th, 2020 until March 26th, 2020. Players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 can look forward to the release of this Featured Event, and the introduction of Event Campaign II, later this year. Link Your Steam and Arc Accounts!
Greetings, We have temporarily disabled the Steam-Arc account linking feature. Any account that was linked prior to the feature being disabled will honor that linking. We will provide additional updates as they become available. Captains, We know one of the frustrating pain points of playing our games on Steam is having to log in at least twice just to play. We want to make that whole process easier for you, so on February 18 we will be enabling Steam Account linking for Neverwinter and Star Trek Online. This will only roll out to a small amount of users at first, but should be available to all users by February 20th. Starting tomorrow, you’ll be required to link your Steam Account to your Arc Account. Once you’ve done that, you can launch both games directly from Steam. Just press “Play,” and you’ll be logged into your Arc account automatically. Here’s how it works: Steam Linking How-to: When players first run the game through Steam after the linking feature is enabled, they will be shown the following options on the launcher: If you have an existing Arc account and are running the game through Steam, you will use the “Log in” field displayed in the image above. Logging in will automatically link your Steam account with your existing Arc account. If you are a first time user or do not have an Arc account, you will need to use the “Don’t have an account?” field and register. This auto-creates an Arc account and links it to your Steam account. Once either of those one-time processes is complete, your accounts will be linked! Please note that in order to unlink your accounts, you will need to contact Customer Support for assistance. .share-footer a { margin: 20px 10px 10px 0; background: url(https://pwimages-a.akamaihd.net/arc/d7/af/d7afaaa14e96d0d973f76157ae31ec5b1466398539.png) no-repeat 0 0; opacity: .5; display: inline-block; height: 60px; width: 60px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid transparent; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } .share-footer .TI { background-position: 0 20%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .YT { background-position: 0 40%; } .share-footer .TW { background-position: 0 60%; } .share-footer .FO { background-position: 0 80%; } .FB:hover { background-position: 100% 0%; } .TI:hover { background-position: 100% 20%; } .YT:hover { background-position: 100% 40%; } .TW:hover { background-position: 100% 60%; } .FO:hover { background-position: 100% 80%; } .share-footer a:hover { opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s; transition: opacity .3s; } $(document).ready( function() { $('.show-lightbox').click(function() { var $el = $(this); var link = $el.data().lightbox; $.colorbox({href: link, maxWidth: '90%', maxHeight: '90%', scalePhotos: true}); }); }); .headerimage { border: 2px inset rgba(255, 255, 255, .05); border-radius: 2em; box-shadow: 5px 5px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .3); -webkit-transition: all 500ms ease; -moz-transition: all 500ms ease; -ms-transition: all 500ms ease; -o-transition: all 500ms ease; transition: all 500ms ease; }Quelle: /en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11370083-link-your-steam-and-arc-accounts%21
